The difference is significant and is much nicer on the eyes. Jumped from a htc m9 to a HTC 10...no competition... The qhd screen is way more detailed.
Looking forward to 1080 standard fading away in the coming yrs just so those comments vanish. Or oems like oneplus finding a cost effective way to produce a phone with qhd lol...

It was confirmed VoLTE is supported. So for me ther are no negatives.
Reviewers say that the full hd screens is just as nice as qhd and on the plus site, the device will work better with lower resolution.

I think in 27,999 INR it is the best phone avilable in the market. I am not seeing any competitor at this price bracket. I m now ditching my samsung note 5 in the favour of one plus 3.

1.your buying a phone not a hard drive you have cloud storage
2.you won't feel a the difference between a 1440p and 1080p unless you are using a microscope
3.buy the version that works in your area unless you are fly a lot
4.you can Skype call. Whatsapp call. Viber and a million different apps that you can use as substitute for VoLTE
5.no Need for a IP68 rating until unless you are an Olympic swimmer

"I feel though they have given 6GB RAM, it cant match the speed of the other branded phones like Samsung with much less RAM. I have observed, 4GB Samsung device is much more faster than 6GB One Plus devices. Reason being they have not optimised the memory consumption. Features wise very basic. No payment related apps, voice related apps. If you are technie and want to be up to date in terms of technology and features, this is not the phone, Camera also not that good compared to Samsung. People who are unware of the internals , blindly seeing the spec they will buy this !!!Ok sir. you please don't buy this......."
So I advised him the same.
Fyi, I ordered an OP3 from amazon.in, couple of hours ago...

The design is also awful in my opinion
Fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone
The question you have to ask is would you pay an extra £30 for a SD card slot? (if the zenfone is £340 like rumored)

VGA was the norm in mobile cameras and see where we are now. 12-13MP is the norm...and do you remember a phone with front facing camera just even 6-7 years back. OP3 has gone with a subdued design unlike OP1 & OP2 where those handsets stood out in the crowd for their design. So they must have decided to up the spec sheet to make it stand-out. I would say its a bold move! We may not be seeing 6GB RAMS lining up from now..but brands would reach there when they decide....

Display of 1080p with 401ppi does not give crisp picture quality. These should have heen atleast 1440p. 4 GB RAM would do, there is no need for 6GB RAM running this specs. Disappointed with display :-(
