Please do not panic,
The phone itself is futureproof.
Further, the company was unable to meet demant in europe & US, So, its nothing new that the old one plus 3 was discontinued!
But the good news is that, Its still available and will be available in others parts of the world along with one plus 3T.

I just bought oneplus 3 official otg cable recently launched on oneplus India online store, but even after enabling otg it is not working properly, it only makes connecting between the device and the phone but i have several files explorers but non of them are able to read the content of the device attached, please suggest any otg cable or adapter that actually works with oneplus 3.

OnePlus 3 for everything else.
If glass built doesn't bother you, you could give a try to the Note 5. But the software will still be no match for clean Android experience, simple as that.

Camera lost focus after 4 months used. Not even able to scan a QR Code.

I would definetly recommend the oneplus 3, he was release on 2016 and have better hardware. (2015 for the note 5)
The software of the note 5 is not that great and OTA update is quite low
If you like modding your phone the oneplus 3 is your phone
But even if the note 5 seem "odd" he still have a good hadware and he is more polyvalent (stylet) so if you like it and you can have it with a good price don't be affraid to buy it!
