I just bought Oneplus 3. I want to update to the latest version but scare so many people say they face heating issue and charging issue. can any one clarify this? should i update to version 3.2.6? Currently running version 3.2.2

I am currently using Nexus 4 but my battery is dying so I am thinking about Oneplus 3. Do you think I can be happy with the display resolution and quality after Nexus 4 (is it better?), and be happy with this phone overall?
P.S.: This is really frustrating since Pixel looks like a toy and costs stupidly expensive. As a long-time Nexus user (my previous phones were also Nexus), now I don't know what to buy next to use for a similar long term...
