Running 8.0 Oreo, ie Oxygen OS 5.0.2. The camera performance has become very good with updates and rivals that of iPhone 6. Battery backup is the best in it's class.Face recognition had been introduced. Preset Alarm switching on a phone which has been shut off is a useful addition.Value for money product.

Why doesn't 1080p 60fps mode doesn't have good quality than 1080p, and 1080p/720p mode doesn't have OIS I'm forced to use 4k mode to record videos.

Still the best cellular phone in my opinion. Two things where it is weak: the lack of MicroSD and BlooTooth connection. But, other phones: do not have OIS, low resolution camera

quite possible the worst phone ive ever used. only had it a year now and the matte black version has deteriorated even though a case has been on it. The battery life is poor and the phone lags like crazy. I will go back to my flagship brand now as this has proven why samsung and apple are the best

Right now i get 4 hours SOT on heavy usage (web browsing + gaming). Or regular usage it lasts for a full day with 20-30 % left by midnight.

Try first to reset Goole playstore app data.
If it not helps then,
Run clear install (reset your phone), clear both cache in bios + system.
Now i get 6hrs SOT, or 4 when gaming.

Running Oreo.
When i play games its much less... 3-4 hrs. but i guess this is normal.

I have been using this phone for about 8 months now. I have issues with the phone like following
1. while connecting home wifi , it disconnected much during wifi usage. My router wifi is working excellent on honor 8 phone. i have tested several times but problem only with 3T.
2. battery now start draining fast, though fast charging is there.
3. heat up on long whatsapp call, usually 20 mins or more.

Many times, the home & back and the other buttons on the bottom of the phone are not functioning all of a sudden . They start functioning after a restart. Any solution?
