So ive been waiting for OP5 since last 6 month and now i sad because its not worth price they are offering :(

Does anyone know any good brand with same SD835, good camera and battery and around same price ?

Mi6 Plus looks good to me but does anyone know why Xiaomi phone have only Marshmallow ? even upcoming model is showing MM ... World is moved to Nougat and xiaomi still stuck with MM ? do they offer software update ?

Nah, there's a huge gap in design between OP5 and S8.... if u want style S8 is atm the best on the market.

As far as specs go...let's be real....90% of users will never be ale to hit the limit of an S6-7....how will they ever reach the limit of an S8.

Camera might be better but not by much. Battery is slightly better.

All in all not worth the price IMO. If u have ~500E to throw on this phone..u might as well go for a 700E or less S8 which you know won't lose it's value as fast as this phone over time AND has much better customer support and spare parts.

Eagerly waiting to buy the phone. But seems the options are not that great at a price of 500 Euros.

JOHN, 21 Jun 2017Electronic image stabilization (EIS) is an image enhancemen... moreThanks John for the information. But I personally think that OnePlus 5 should have had OIS. I personally feel OIS is better than EIS because in OIS there is no software processing which reduces the delay of stabilising the the images.

Well, basically, it's a mixed emotions. In a way, okay it's the SD835 and dual camera setup (16MP+20MP), BT5, etc. But on the other hand, again without an SD slot, etc, and price really increased. So well, it's subjective, but probably it's good to take a look around. Maybe to the Mi6, etc. And maybe to the (hopefully) upcoming ZTE Axon 8, etc.

Seems lots of people want the OnePlus 5 to be an S8 at the price of the OnePlus 5!

Luckily still got choices like HTC U11 and ZTE Z17.

if OP5 is 25% more power efficient, with its 835 processor, than OP3T, which is powered by an 821 processor, how come both devices have the same battery endurance of 83 hours? The only difference I see among them is100 mAh. I would have expected a lot more from the newer processor..

Omg!!! I just made a right decision to go with s8! This flagship is completely unmatched to samsungs though the price may vary.

Honestly disappointed. Even op3T is better than this

Electronic image stabilization (EIS) is an image enhancement technique using electronic processing. EIS minimizes blurring and compensates for device shake, often a camera. More technically, this technique is referred to as pan and slant, which is the angular movement corresponding to pitch and yaw.

Optical Image Stabilization. (OIS) A technology for cameras that physically moves the camera lens to compensate for camera movement. Any time a camera takes a photo, the image is captured over a period of time.
