i have a op3 and op5 was expecting a extreme improvement but this design is a complete let down 3300mah battery.. not enough and the spec without sd card isnt good enough for upgrade yet....

If you like the design there's no need to waist 500$ or 600$ on the OP5.
-For about 70$ you can get yourself a nice Leagoo M7,or a T7 if you want to really show off ;)
-For ~80$ you could be the proud owner of a Blackview A9 pro.
-For 100-120$ you can get a Oukitel(hope I wrote the name correctly) U series model or a UMIDIGI C Note or pick any iPhone 7/7plus ripoff in this price range (literally douzens of models)
-Now for ~200$ you could really show off with a stunning Ulefone Gemini Pro or a UMIDIGI Z Pro...
...and the list could go on an on.
Hey you could even stick the OP logo on one of the above and say it's a China special/limited/whatever OP5 edition.The clone that cloned the clone that cloned the iPhone 7 plus.

I think Oneplus 5 is aimed for iPhone users who want's to installed Custom ROMs like lineage OS like they couldn't with their iPhones. Oneplus should give credit to Apple once they release this phone.

As GSMArena have said, this is a step back for Oneplus, nothing spectacular, and more of a copy to the Oppo R11 considering they're owned by the same umbrella corp, i've said from the start, i personally would only buy it with a QHD screen as i want something that i can use for VR as i enjoy that, and something future proofed for the next couple of year, also memory is an issue, and i dont want a phone thinner than the 3, if it means no realy increase on the battery or memory. The camera will be great from what we've seen, but this isnt enough to stick with Oneplus now, i liked having something that no one else around me had, with a somewhat unique design.
