Why does it say on this spec list that it has a QHD display when in every benchmark it said only FullHD? Are your guys hope that big?

Please bring back the Oneplus 2 design, so much better looking than 3/3T series and rumoured oneplus 5 iPhone design. I ain't buying a phone that looks like an iPhone, Oneplus as a company are becoming a flagship cloner.

Unescessary big screen resolution combined with very fast processor and low capacity battery will make you have it on a charger most of the time, that doesn't bother You? or no SD card? or on purpose taken out fm radio functionality? Manufacturers make phones unesscesary slim, sacrifice battery capacity, make them more fragile and taking out useful features for something few gives a shit about.

Even if this processor is a bit more efficient than it's predecessor, in real world you won't notice much of a difference, because it's faster.

i was actually looking forward to buying the oneplus 5, was following all the news about it since couple of weeks.
but i have to say i am a little skeptical now to buy it after looking at the design.
I dont want it look like iphone, i would buy an iphone if i want to have a device that looks like one.
am i the only one who thinks oneplus 3 & 3T had good design, and oneplus could have built on it to fit two camera rather than completely changing it?

i can understand why the borrowed the design from Oppo R11, to cut production time and cost. But i would have prefered to have a original design with these specs even if took 3 more months for them to make

100$ or even less can get you a decent budget device like the Xiaomi Redmi 4a for example.

Oneplus will be sued by Apple, like Samsung was. Oneplus 5 looks identical to a iPhone 7s except the logo branding, and I think there will be no such thing as a 5T model, unless there was a redesign. They will copy other brands on their next flagship killer and the company will go downhill.

A last year iPhone clone will always be a last year iPhone clone regardless of specs and in this case things are acctualy worse because it's an expensive one. Generally copycats are the poor man's choice( that wants but can't afford the original) and usually sell for a lot less.

This model might sell in some Asian markets but in the long run going in the "let's shamelessly clone Apple and Samsung" direction will have consequences for the OP brand in the rest of the world, especially in the West.

Hold on to your precious money. There will be a OnePlus 5 (refresh) version by November or December this year sporting a SD836 SoC. Samsung's Note 8 is sporting a SD836. More or less a OnePlus 5 refresh version with SD836 SoC is not too far away..

Remember OnePlus 3 with SD820 SoC? By November of last year OnePlus 3T was release with SD821 SoC.

It's a 5-6 month cycle that OnePlus is implementing ala Sony, regarding their flagship outings.
