This needs a 41 megapixel, it's 2017 technically we're into late 2010s and look how much smartphones changed over the last 10 years or so. We should expect better camera, battery life, internal specs like 4500 Mah battery, 41-50 megapixel and 1TB internal storage, Replace OTA update with Custom ROMs of our choice without unlocking bootloader, give us the freedom.

rokey, 30 Apr 2017please increase battery capacity upto 4800mAh.....The slim design doesn't allow such battery capacity and they won't release a thick and bulky device just to offer more juice. Actually, we can only expect a maximum of 3600Mah on a 2017 smartphone which screen size goes up to 5.5inches.

If the device reaches 6inches, then we can expect a higher capacity

Anonymous, 26 Apr 2017I'm not One Plus hater but Sony phones are superb.Everybody don't share the same thoughts! We are talking about flagship killers, not flagship !

Sony has a lot of cons such as overheating, poor scratch resistant glass, capped finger print reader, capped audio output, high megapixels cameras that doesn't offer good performances, useless and battery destroyer 4K screen on 5.5 inches devices etc

Juan, 26 Apr 20175 reasons not to buy the Oneplus 5: 3000 Mah battery Ma... moreSame design as the One Plus 3T? Where you got that information and how to rely on it?

The Sony XZ will hit somewhere above $700 with a capped finger print reader in some countries, I don't think that it even deserves a mention here

All depends on the optimization, Sony manage to offer decent battery life on his devices with less than 3000mah, I don't think that 400mah of more juice will be significant if the software optimization isn't on par.

Sold my OnePlus 3 because it only had a 3000mAh battery and didn't lasted me how i wanted (barely 3 hours sot). I was thinking to get the 3t, but since 5 was a few months away, I said that I should wait. If it comes out with 3000mAh, I will be buying the Xiaomi Mi6, if it has at least 3400mAh, I will get the 5. Battery is really important to use OnePlus! The phone is already slim, don't make it slimmer. Increase the battery capacity, or at least stick to the one in the 3T!

A couple of weeks ago, I was about an inch away from ordering a OnePlus 3T, but decided to watch some youtube videos on the upcoming 5. 3T plans put on hold since rumors indicate a 2nd quarter release. I'm counting the days. A couple of peeps put their opinion at a July 5th release. Whatever. A photo was finally released (a photo of the back), and it looks just a simple as other OnePlus's, just with a dual camera. Still no solid updates on battery size, water resistance, etc. Oh please, give us a release date and some firm specs, pretty please.

I was eagerly waiting for this phone but after seeing this battery (only 3000 mAh!) i am completely disappointed! Currently i am using oneplus 2 but battery is 3300 with a 5.5 inch screen. Oneplus should think about the battery!
