Have been using the phone since 29th July 2017. Undoubtedly, it is an amazing phone. And, the performance is superb: No two words about it. The customization options are simply mind-blowing!! Neither I nor my wife play video games; so no comments on that topic.
The battery has been doing well; lasting a full day needing to charge only in thenext morning. And, after the recent 4.5.8 update, it is lasting almost one-and-half days!
I am really satisfied with the camera. As a photographer, I love the pro-mode and the RAW capture option, though daylight photos and the portrait mode render excellent images with great clarity and good colour saturation. Noise is present, but managed well. Low light photos are a bit noisy. The best way to enjoy the videos and photos is by playing on a 42 inch TV (through cast screen option): They appear professional!
I don't take the pixel-peepers' comparisons of OP5 camera with that of Iphone 7 plus OR Samsung S8. Each camera processes the image differently and since there are a variety of shooting situations, one is a tad good here and a tad better there: Generally, at that range, all produce usable photos and videos. I have no issues with the display panel either; it's lovely. Slim and light (both in my hand and on my pocket!) this phone hasn't disappointed me.

I got OP5 Black 2 weeks ago and I am extremely happy with it. My main concern was the battery but it takes around day and a half between 2 full charges. Or to be more precise between day and a day and a half, depending on using it. The other very nice thing is the fast charging.
It's incredibly fast, even in multitasking. Whatever I press, it executes immediately. Camera is great, one touch zoom is AWESOME and this is my first time using Oxygen OS and I like it, especially managing settings. I don't understand why don't other brands have this kind of settings that you can really set the phone to work on the way really fits to you.
Thinking about bad sides, only the thing it's not waterproof makes me worry when i'm out on rain. Very minor thing is a new charging connector (at least new for me), so I need to buy a couple of new cables to be able to connect my phone with powerbank, in-car charger and similar, but it's not minor. Also there's not so many cases for it here in Canada, at least not at this moment, hope it's gonna change soon.

If that is the case why why ANDROID can run with 2... moreAlso RAM is now cheap, why would anyone develop an OS artificially limited to low memory footprint when: (1) you really don't need to; (2) you can actually get a much better experience by using all available hardware.
It's a win-win.

But even if I go search Google how much RAM is needed for ANDROID to work in the end it is around 2.3GB RAM since an average user uses that amount per day. Even DigitalTrends says so

What about camera photo quality in daylight and in evening. Also video quality.It will be very helpful in deciding whether to go for one plus 5 or for xiaomi mi 6 .Pl . anybody answer.
