For 500 its a true star on the market much better than any other phone ever released.
Because no company will be able to sell their phones with same or better stats for same or lower price.
        Thats just not possible.
This is a real Buggati Chiron on a phone market.

About the flagships being cheap, well... not really, it's the retail price as in the price it's launched at. Heck, even the U11cost just little bit more than an S8, lol. You'd be suprised how messed up the pricing of phones from where I'm at.

I wouldn't buy the OP5 at this price either but I also would be careful about those very well priced big brand flagships. When something seems too good to be true....

Where I'm from, the OP5 (128gb variant) cost as much as an S8, U11, and cost more than an LG G6. Huzzah.

Guess which one I'm going for?

Hint: Not the one starting with the letter "O"

Again RAM doesn't cost that much, getting that IP certification involves higher costs and OP wanted to minimize costs and maximaze profits.Simple as that.

Absolutely loving this phone especially for the price. Yeah, there's a few issues like pulling down instead of up to answer a call (opposite to default android) but hardware wise I've no issues with it.

Physical switch for do not disturb / silent mode is a nice touch. 6GB ram is plenty enough (and still more than most flagships). Photo quality is great too and very good battery life.

Would the Oneplus 5T have IP68 rating, water resistant and dust proof. It has to be all glass body to be waterproof, why don't people get that????

I bought the Oneplus 3 on release day, it still works the same as new, I can't actually see any reason to upgrade, the design isn't ground-breaking on the Oneplus 5 either, so i'll probably wait and see what they come up with next year... also buying a new case for your phone can give it that new phone feel, so if you're getting board with your phone, perhaps mix it up a little.
