Anonymous, 23 Jun 2017that's idiotic, you'd break it in an instantWe'll look at the XZ premium it's made out of Gorilla Glass 5 front and rear at least provides some tough protection, you can drop it how many times as you like, and it won't break maybe a few scratch or dent, and glass can be replaced by Sony, but it you drop a Oneplus 5 the matte will get scratched easily and it will be fugly forever and the replacement I doubt it, oneplus customer service is terrible and they don't care about its customers lol

Anonymous, 23 Jun 2017Oneplus 5T should be waterproof and made out of all glass bodyPossibly you're right, glass body is the solution to waterproofing I was thinking about XZ premium and I believe it's waterproof, unlike Oneplus 5 made out of matte I think it looks fragile to be resistant to water, midrange I'd call it and I get fed up with the media calling Oneplus 5 design a premium feeling. Firstly it's a Iphone clone which makes the phone look like childish, and secondly it has cheated the benchmark test, if you're a man I was absolutely would recommend buying XZ premium over this hybrid failure.

We get phones in regularly liquid damaged including Samsung S7 Edge and Iphone 7 besides others.
No Phone is waterproof. Splash-proof maybe but definatily not waterproof up to 1.5m as u put it.
Not sure what your smoking or on which planet your living on.

This is supposed to be a flagship killer and yet it hasn't got any waterproof rating at all but in 2017 a waterproof rating is standard with all the other flagships that are out.
I would never spend £500 this year on a phone that has no waterproof rating.

Same as one plus 3, only different in camera department.
dual camera. But picture quality is average.
Not comprair to iPhone and Samsung galaxy s8.
No innovation.

I don't know why are you guys bragging about the looks of OP5 with iphone 7 plus. Yes it has some resemblance with the placement of the dual cameras and it ends there. But the OP5 looks EXACTLY same as the oppo r11 both front and back, dual cameras and the materials used. Check it out. It makes sense as OnePlus's largest shareholder is oppo so they are not 'copying' anyone else's design. The oppo r11 is placed as a low-mid range phone and it's sad that op5 uses the same chassis. Op3 and op3t was looked far better imo.

now it looks like the iPhone 7 plus which it looks cool but even apple has actually mad it have a IP67 rating and they one plus is lacking that as most phones like sony,apple and samsung are now waterproof up to 1.5 metres so with this new flagship they are missing a few things out

The 3300mah battery's backup is impressive and when it couples with dash charging which promises 0-60% in just 30 min it shouldn't be a problem... I own the oneplus 3 and I feel okay with the battery backup... 10000 mah battery... Why don't you buy a custom battery and attach it with your phone..
