The display would cost you almost 10k and the body almost 7-8k from the service centre...

hi friends, yesterday I dropped my phone from 1st floor and the body is now bent and the screen is completely shattered and blank. Should I repair it and what would be the cost of repairing, or should I just sell it for parts may be or sell it post repairing and get some new mobile?

Please Oneplus, just start making mid-range phones of about $250 US price tag with SD card for every one to buy a variant from you. Please start doing this for us.

It costs mote than my XZ P and it's on par with the S8+.
Who are the idiots saying this is a budget phone? Go to school and study some math cos this piece of bs is not cheap at all.
It may have started that way, but that clearly doesn't apply to nowadays.
If it would costs max 400-450 euro I would understand, but in my country it costs from 715 euro to 800 euro!
And on top of everything:
- they steal your data without asking
- they cheat when benchmarks are performed so it can score higher
- there's no SD card slot
- no IP68 or MIL waterproofing
- NO WAY get your garbage!

Help me out, 03 Jan 2018A thing i noticed is phones these years are offering this a... moreok, so you want a mobile that just works then I cant recommend anything else than an iOS device. It has great build quality, stable OS, good support, and backup options are good too. This makes easy to switch from old mobile to new mobile within iOS eco-system. Within the iPhone range you have used iPhone 6S so if you want same form factor then go with iPhone 8 and for bigger size and better camera go for iPhone 8 plus. And definitely, if you have the budget you cant go wrong with iPhone X.
This is what I like about the iOS eco-system, it works out of the box with minimal bloatware. For now i dont have budget to get into iOS ecosystem (if I want to buy the latest evice), but who know why also want a phone which just works I may consider switching from Android to iOS. Best of luck with your purchase and do let us know here with which device you went eventually. Cheers..

Like there is an alternative samsung app for every google app, and these unnecessary apps bloat the phone... I guess these days if manufacturers collaborate with google and add features to stock andriod itself amd not creating their own UI's would be the best thing...
