It's early to say something but I'm enjoying my OP 5T in these few days after selling off my Samsung S7. 5T is smooth,fast and better in all aspects than my S7. More to say but after sometime.

LIRKER, 19 Dec 2017Can you described the camera performance on low-light shots... moreIn bright day light it's par with S7. Portrait mode is good not very good like iPhone 8+. At lowlights 5T clicks much natural n better photos than S7 n S8. Without flash it's grainy than S7. I also hav S8 but i like 5T's fotos as these r more close to natural skin tones than a painted one on S7 or S8.

TheLostWanderer, 19 Dec 2017In other words - you made a bad decision...Not sue though..bcoz 5T is really fast than my S7 even battery back up is good. Little disappointed for low light fotos..but i must say pics in night comes more natural than my S7 though grainy but not like S7's painted one.

Post Oxygen 4.7.5 update i can see the Portrait mode takes few seconds to click a photo, not like as in normal mode. Is it a common issue all facing? Pls advise

UI is also good not like Raw Android. I hav no prblm after switching frm Samsung's UI to 5T's

Hi guys I am very much interested in buying a new phone. I am currently using samsung s5 and it has gotten slow and not a very big fan of samsung UI(user interface) can someone help me choose between s8 or Op 5t as they are both around the same price in my country. I am also interested in ip rating byt also in portrait shots and fast performance and nixely placed fingerprint scanner. Thanks in advance

The camera on this phone is the biggest let down, Even with the update that was supposed to fix the oil painting quality its still garbage. I even debated swapping it for an S7.
Battery and performance is great but the camera is the deal breaker
Shame.

All I have to say is that its a BEAST again A BEAST (Mic Drop). Hard core Mobile gaming, Streaming no prob. I choose this phone over an IPhone X in any day

About the camera, there's an OxygenOS updates on 4.7.4 version which improves the camera performance and then compared with Pixel 2, looks OnePlus 5T was slightly better than Pixel 2 camera. Contrast and details are well-managed and dynamic range is on par with Pixel 2.
