If the price would be the same, I would go for OnePlus 5T because of faster CPU.
OnePlus adv:
-faster cpu
-almost pure Android
-camera has a portrait mode
LG G6 adv:
-Nice design (not a fan of iphoneish OP5, and OP5 is veeery slippery, you will need a case!)
-more compact dimensions
-better camera
-microSD

But if u are in a hurry you have really good options you can choose from including the OP5T...and also the galaxy s8, note 8, huawei mate 10 pro, pixel 2 xl and so on. If u are a oneplus fan u better go for the OP5T or wait for the OP6....

I have iPhone 7 now and I feel trapped by its ecosystem. I am planning to buy Android phone next. I am debating whether I should buy this one or wait for OnePlus 6 next year. What do you guys think?

Anonymous, 11 Dec 2017That rear fingerprint and no OIS is a deal breaker, who nee... moreFollowing the trend oneplus had to introduce 18:9 displays, the displays fits the whole frame and their is no room for the fingerprint scanner, that's why it had to be put back... Yeah, its better to have OIS, but its just cost cutting, sometimes EIS if implemented properly it can be as good as OIS ( pixel XL)... So, that's not a deal breaker
