I am reading all the comments on the phone and what it delivers and I can say that the mobile industry has really raised the standards of the mobile users. I am still an owner of an S5 mini (yes, it still works and the battery holds nearly a day :)) and I am seriously considering to buy this phone. Here are my opinions on some of the topics discussed here.
              1. No dust and water protection - For my purposes, i don't plan to go swimming or go to a desert with my phone this is no deal breaker for me. Unless I really expose my phone to water and dust daily this would be a deal breaker for me.
              2. No SD card. - For me, 128GB of storage is faaaaaaaaaaaaar enough. I don't make videos of full concerts in order not to view them again. And I take pictures and actually develop them and keep them and not just store them.
              3. Curved screen ?!? I mean c'moan, it does not even matter to me.
The most important for me is that this is a decent phone with a performance that is close to the latest and more expensive flagship phones. I don't change phones every year so I buy my phones to use them for a long time. And let us face it, for me it is a device for making calls first and then to use it for internet and taking photos. I don't show off my status with which phone I own cause I am smart how much I pay for it. I can afford an iPhone x, but I rather invest the rest of the money in another place from where I can actually get a benefit.

AnonD-596087, 18 Nov 2017Not really, it doesn't really do anything better than the d... moreThats now. But when the other flagships were at first week on sale they coosted a lot more.
After certain amount of time this phone will bve cheaper and the flagships which already reduced price wont be reduced more. So your opinion is stupid as dead worm.

Also , forgot to mention f/1.7 without OIS carries no meaning if meant for low light photography , & 2 sensors on EIS carries no value ( As EIS < OIS ) , & the photo sample proves it.

Its Plain Cost cutting by OnePlus , i remember the OP5 camera designer admitting they had done a compromise on OP5 cam. ( A Good camera , not a great camera was his statement , no wonder DxOMark gave it highest ratings , now for 5t we will see 100% camera rating surpassing IPhone X & Pixel 2 )

Technically a Flagship Phablet , if you consider anything above 5 inch as phablet.

From Photos & Specs for those talking of narrow screen , i say the screen is 6.01"18:9 means in 16:9 its equivalent to 5.2 + inches or say 5.25 inches 16:9 , in portrait wide. (For Comparison - Iphone X 5:8 inch is 4.95 inch in 16:9 ) . Its smart move by Oppo / OnePlus by using full 6 inches (6.01) they have ensured the form factor is not far from 5.5 16:9 of OnePlus 5 , so users don't complain of very narrow screen. OnePlus 5T Portrait mode will be bit more shorter than 5. AMOLED screen uses new tech. this time.

The Performance will be bit slower than 5 , as the screen resolution has minor bump also screen bit big , battery will be bit shorter afterall same processor , the camera not having 2x zoom is disappointing , the new dual camera idea is good , but i doubt it will be as good as Single cam Samsung S8 class , or Pixel 2. A telephoto lens or if low light was priority RGB + Monochrome lens would have been better. Overall all things are good but camera might be a disappointment.
