This is I would change in the Oneplus 5T:
-16:9 instead of 2:1
-3600 to 4000mha of battery
-4Gb of RAM is enough (put that 2gb ram cost in another thing like bigger battery)
-That second camera is unnecessary
-Sd card option in simcard2 slot
-Do not raise the price so fast
I don´t care about the rest and Android Oreo eventually get updated, so...

Built-quality should be good on all of them, battery life, RAM management as well. I have Nokia 8 now and it is fine (except camera and fingerprint scanner could be better). It beats OnePlus 5 imo, but maybe not the 5T. We'll see when GSMarena, notebookcheck and others review it thoroughly.

which is best - OP5T, Nokia 8, Mate 10, Xperia XZ premium in terms of:
build quality, battery life, RAM mangaement, heating up, & most importantly Android update support
Although I've narrowed down to OP5T or Nokia 8, need to buy one of them.

A lot of device for the money and NO glass on the back. Only question mark for me is the battery life with the 6 inch screen. 4000 mAh would've been perfect.

hi. yes you are right . resolution defers. but oneplus 5 having 1080p .5.5 display. oneplus 5t having 1080p 6.1 display ... so there is a chance battery life will have a problem. minimum 3500 as expected. disapointed in 3300mah battery.

newer phones are hybrid dual sim or no sd card at all, less functional phones but thinner, no a good deal

I've read at least 5 comments in a row saying battery life is bad because of the 6inch screen.
For your informations newbies, the battery drain comes from higher resolution, not higher screen.

Unfortunately OP is loosing their way !
It is another pointless model that will not have success on most of markets.
I guess that 5 is not selling well, too.
Couriers subsidized phones (like S8) are much better deals and price and performance are similar.
Specs:
- No new android system (still android N)
- No CPU upgrade
- No OIS
- higher screen resolution with same battery size will be disaster
BTW I see no reason for name 5T since name 6 is available

Anonymous, 17 Nov 2017Better than having notch!!Worse, now the sides are used for nothing. When having a nothch you use the most amount of front face possible. Now you have dumb bezel instead... Bezels should die.
Also the notch (TM) is a stopgap. Eventually Apple would put them underscreen, androids would be holding their d***s as it happens. So sad to see the industry leaders becoming industry followers...

I think there are not any great decision and amendment for this new launch...as a customer we expect more from oneplus phones now
1)there should be a deal for upgraded Android Oreo .
2) memory should pe expandable with dedicated slot.
3)Color variations
4)finger sensor could be at front..but that's not a issue..that's OK.
5) water resistant.
That's my expectations from oneplus .
Everyone could have there opinion.
I hope for a new launch it will be better and our expectations will not be down.

I think this will be failure in battery side . Oneplus 5 3300mah battery. 5.5 display....
oneplus 5T 3300mah BATTERY. 6.01 DISPLAY. BATTERY SHOULD BE MORE THAN ONEPLUS 5
