I just bought a used oneplus 5t at $200 sgd on 26/06/20 and it was so worth it

Facing some problem with "Proximity sensor". It is not working in my unit now. Using this for a year now. Anyone has faced this sort of problem? What can be the solution here??

Vijay, 03 Jun 2019Hello everybody, I had bought oneplus 5T in Dec 2017. Took... moreBad request. OnePlus phones are extra clase phones. I have been using a second hand OP5T for about 7 months now and could not be happier. Would only change it for a 2019 Samsung flagship, and I guess no one having one would do the trade, lol. So I would not change this oldie for any phone out there. Ultrafast.

New update in the UK today:
                          Oxygen OS 9.0.11
Android security patch 1 Feb 2020
                          Build number Oneplus_A5010_43_200224

I've had this phone since the very start of 2018 (2+ years). It's been a very fast and consistent phone to use and it'll get android 10 which is amazing. Honestly one of the best phones OnePlus has ever released with its beautiful screen however the battery life is not going to last you a full day of constant use. Very happy with it and plan to keep it until it starts having big problems.

                              Oneplus 5t is a great phone i have a galaxy s7 i keep for backups and a bricked s8.

My galaxy s8 had problems, sure it has more features and it's quite fast but it's durability sucked and it completely bricked after 18 months bought brand new on contract, then I got a Oneplus.

It's way superior to the S7 in almost every way except the camera which the s7 and s8 crush it and 5t has no wireless charging.

Never gets anywhere near as hot as either s7 or s8

Dash charging is really excellent. Oneplus feels faster than s8 because of the oxygen os and less features. Good battery life as good as s8 both are way better than s7. Face unlock is cool and finger print reader but these styles do not feel secure i would just use a pin. Screen is nice, big, amoled and hires, but s8 infinity display wins here. Very durable even with a slim military hybrid case dropped many times on concrete etc and no visable damage. For comparison the s8 fell off my car holder into my leather gear stick and the screen cracked -_-
For reference the S7 i have is also durable too but basic things like google maps are starting to become really slow and you have to keep looking for work around.

                              Conclusion:

                              -Great phone overall
-Snapdragon 835 is flagship level 2017, and games and apps still run nice in 2020
-camera isn't bad but beaten but both s7 s8 very noticable
                              -Android 9 if it get's 10 it beats both s8 and s7
-durable with even a slim military grade case
-metal back is cool but no wireless charging might be the reason its running cooler
-dash charging is a real winner for me super easy to manage my day at work

I read many reviews that point to the s7 over the oneplus 5t and what are they smoking??? apart from camera and wireless charging there is more to phone.

S8 loses in key factors for me personally.
                              1. S8 durability is horrendous and it can't afford to be nobody is perfect, people drop things.
                              2. S8 still gets way too hot much better than s7 tho
                              3. S8 not reliable more likely to brick once dropped
                              4. S8 is quite slow on charging you don't appreciate how this affects a heavy user until you enjoy the dash charge.

Oneplus thumps up I bring up S7 because it's priced around the same range as 5t here

Based on my experience with the 5t I would say that the phone is certainly one of the best phone I have ever use ! I would recommend it to anyone ! I totally love this phone !
