I hope that OnePlus does not follow the trend like apple did, where some companies have copied the apple trend style. and also i want OnePlus to come with their Own Identity and Characteristic .

I hope that by the end of 2018, this notch thing will die then. This is really an eyesore. Wait for OP 6T or OP 7? Lol.
Hopefully, I will be able to buy OP 5T soon. Bad thing only is the camera. If compared to Nokia 7 Plus, this one will lose definitely. Performance? You know who have won already.

If your smart enough to understand, Android P 9.0 will support the notch, therefore the UI interface will be all white themed. I wonder how it will integrate with Oxygen OS. It could be the end of dark theme because Google has blocked custom layers for Android P 9.0, which can mark the end of android customisation for both Oxygen OS and Custom ROMs.

well...a lot of you ignore the reason of the notch.
its simple.
low manufacturing cost.
oppo one plus asus and soon to be other chinese companies are buying locally available display..so all of them buying the same notch display..let it be lcd or amoled.
you will see other lower end companies like elephone dogee will also use the same display at even a lower cost.
