You are missing the point. It shouldn't be left to owners of this phone to use VPN and search around for third party apps to update it. Owners have shown their loyalty to Oneplus by buying their products and the company should return that loyalty by issuing the latest firmware without all these delays.

The update fiasco is becoming ridiculous. My phone is still on Android 9 and security patch level dated 1st August 2019 and there is still no sign of any update.

If you are experiencing the same problem on different phones then it likely to be a dodgy app that you have downloaded from somewhere that is causing a conflict.

I have bought oneplus 60T from reliance digital store before purchasing the oneplus i was using Samsung s8 but that cell phone had hanging problem so some one suggest me to buy oneplus and they told me that dont worry you will have that hanging issue with this cell phone but i facing the same problem with this phone because its having same problem seriously so bad experience with oneplus my expectation has been broked now plz suggest what can i do with onepluse which for phone will not hang......

The update IS indeed out but only as a Beta (although quite trouble-free in my opinion). Official stable update is not for another couple of weeks though, that is correct.

Don't believe everything you read. The update hasn't been released. Every forum gets Trolls boasting about things like that. The update has been postponed until mid November.

One plus 6 is a best set. Battery timing is very good.
Proccessing going very better. No hang problem.
Better then 6t...3.5 jeck avl for sound.. Other no difference... Use and enjoy latest speed.

I am surprised seeing that a new smartphone of only 6 months old, failed to receive or call!
Basic function of a cell phone is fallen down,rest are normally functionin!!

My Oneplus 6 already 1,5 years old and still going strong, UI has same smoothness like day 1, no lags, almoast no bugs, suprisingly battery also still going strong even consnsidering fact that i play alot on the phone high graphic games. Camera already lacking behind if i compare it to my wifes Mate 20 Pro, but sill good. Still getting regular updates. Thanks Oneplus for good product.

i have been a Oneplus user from the beginning, Oneplus One, Oneplus 3 , Oneplus 5 and currently use a Oneplus 6. However i've also used work phones which have ranged from Samsung s7, s8, Iphone 6, Iphone 8 , Pixel XL , Pixel 3a.
IF you want a dual sim phone with a clean android OS then Oneplus brand is great, that's the only niche. If dual sim isn't a priority then Oneplus is not the phone to buy, it isn't half the price of other flagships like when it started, you will keep a flagship for 2-3 years, so the saving over that period is tiny. Camera performance has been rubbish from OPO and even the 7 pro is rubbish compared to the competition. If your not into gaming then a Pixel 3a at half the price is a way better choice, if your into gaming then a Samsung flagship or pixel 3 xl is the way to go.

So,is it really more fluid than 6?
