Been using since Oct 19 and still works like a charm. Battery last a day for heavy use with 90hz. No issue with anything.
My wife is using OP8 and is happy with it. The camera can't beat Samsung Note 20 Ultra or S20 Ultra but still won over other flagships.
One of the best buy ever.

My oneplus 7 pro lasts all day and works great. If you game a lot the warp charger works wonders to get the battery recharged (since I'm stuck at home because of covid my charger is never more than 50m away)

Hi, is the batter life of this phone a problem? I am a bit concerned on how the battery life will perform with the 90hz refresh and 1440p display. Also, what is the policy for updates of the phone? Will it manage to Android 12?

I think OnePlus ignores the convenience of wireless charging as they believe their super quick charging mechanism is better (remember reading an interview with the OnePlus CEO).
According to OnePlus, the waterproofing certification adds $30 to the cost of each phone. I think they have added a respectable level waterproofing to the phone – they just do not spend to get it certified. Great and not too expensive phone - the screen is amazing (better than new iPhones imo), fast performance and quite good battery. I recommend

Can't figure out if this is a software or hardware problem

I tried rebooting numerous times. Finally I drove over to his place and then it worked. No idea what was going wrong.
