After upgrade it become more tablet than phone. It is hard to answer calls. Most of the time you need to unlock phone and find that active call. Same fwith ending call, you need unlock phone then find call app and end call. Most annoying thing in world. Good hardware crapy software.

If you already updated to OneplusOS 12 you have to go back to OneplusOS 11 or you can't even unlock bootloader in the settings anymore. And last Oneplus 7 Pro was fantastic, but never a Oneplus again after this OS mess they did. So see you Pixel 8 Pro soon.

Version 12 gb ram it's awesome phone am using it heavy duty it's working great thank you oneplus for that awesome edition 😎😊👍🏼

I've been having a whole host of issues since updating to OxygenOS 12.1, mostly to do with notifications. For some reason I'm now getting notifications interrupting Do Not Disturb mode and the Play Store isn't updating apps, anyone else encountering these issues?

Still one of the best even after nearly 4 years and feels quite fresh with Oxygen OS 12 on board. Performance and battery life is excellent with about 7 hours of Screen on time per charge on it's original battery and the notch/punch hole free display is still iconic.
I bought a OnePlus 11 for a family member as a gift and even though that is awesome, I'm still not tempted to give up my 7 Pro and will wait a few more generations.

Anonymous, 31 Jan 2023Its not worth repairing it. Don't buy Pixel 6, buy Pixel 7.The pixel is probably gonna be slower but it will take better pictures. i personally would repair the phone if possible.

My 7 pro is 4 years old now and received official stable Android 12.1 H38 on 22 Feb 2023. Surprised and happy. The phone doesn't have any issues so far and still new although I am a heavy user. The cable, battery, charger all good and never failed. This is called quality manufacturing. This is a time piece by OnePlus and most probably the last best phone ever manufactured by them. I will keep use it until it failed. 6 or 8 or may be 10 years... Don't know. But still its working same as new and never felt an upgrade is required.
Regarding 12.1 update: No issue found so far. Colours, Animations and some features improved drastically. Security patch Jan 2023. I hope OnePlus will give security update at least. Good job OnePlus for this phone.

My 7 pro is having screen issues and it will cost $250 to repair. Is it worth repairing the phone or just spend $250 more on a new phone that will have better internal hardware, security updates and a warrenty? I dont like the any other oneplus phone and i want to stay away from samsung and apple. Would getting a Google Pixel 6 be an upgrade or a side grade?
