A BT earbud needs a battery and needs to be charged, not good for the environment and inconvenient. Noticeable high frequency distortion and periodic drop-outs with the best codecs, especially in congested areas. BT earbuds have no bass power. Confidential encrypted talks you do not want to do over BT. The peering problems of BT are legend. You cannot use Wi-Fi and BT at the same time.
Very high-quality cabled IEM earbuds with bass power like Sennheiser IE800 which a smartphone can drive cannot be used.
A dongle for microUSB-C you have to buy extra, there are quality problems with it, and you have to carry around another part which you cannot put into your back pocket of your trousers. The audio jack does not wear out like a microUSB jack, ridiculous quality we get in the smartphone world.

Both phones do not have a microSD slot. There are very fast V90 microSD cards like the ADATA Premier ONE which I cannot use with these expensive devices. The Asus Zenfone 6 has an audio jack, microSD slot, motorized camera, but not UFS 3.0 for its microSD slot. I think I have to wait, good for the environment...

Would have been a flagship killer phone if it was priced around 32k. Too much price escalation when someone has Redmi K20 Pro at 25k to consider. I have no doubt in saying that every phone from the OnePlus 7 family is overpriced, they should have been priced atleast 6k less right from the launch.

NO card slot, NO 3.5mm jack, NO Radio, NO better battery life, certainly NOT my cup of tea... This is my opinion, and I DON'T need anyone to agree with it though, as everyone has their own opinions and I respect that. Thank you OP7T,

I guess the pop up nonsense didn't work out, or else why would you go back to water drop? make simple and decent phones idiots. what is this the 90's? pop ups and flips? 6.55 inch phone with 3800 mah? looks like a failed mate 30 design or a samsung + huawei abomination. Actually I don't mind with the notch. Doesn't bother me. 600 euros lmao. My hopes of owning a oneplus always a disappointment.

Why need to make the display taller with 20:9?
Oneplus should retain with 19.5 :9 and not making the display longer.
