lets start with good ones because you'll decide when you see the bad ones;
- good quality doesn't have a scratch on screen, dropped very hard couple of times
- very fast charge (for 2019)
- nice camera
The BAD Ones;
- Sudden freezes and you need to cold boot in order to use the phone
- randomly disconnects itself from cellular and network(power options doesn't change this)
- sometimes notifications doesnt appear or phone decides what to show and not, if you are wating an important mail, too bad becasue oneplus doesn't want you happy. no matter what you do you will miss it %100
- you wont get updates either
- apps starts to operate sluggish time to time, you might need to restart to phone in order to run it normally or re-install the app

What a joke of an update.
Several apps no longer working
Several photos goin blank in my google photos app
Not receiving notifications for messages
Terrible app icons and text font
Oxygen accent color customisation cant give you deep blue or red color anymore
Long press shortcuts for back and home buttons removed
No more ambient display ( replace by always on display which waste battery)
Etc etc.....
Only been on this update for 12 hours so far so i havent come across every issue just yet. This list will only get longer.
The only thing improved after update is the response ànd accuracy of the finger print sensor and the sounds they have added for it.
1 year to release this update and oneplus still cant get it right.
This is the final straw.
Im done with this brand.
Another huge red flag with this update is that oneplus put a disclaimer before installing asking that you back up everything. No wonder 99 percent of my photos backed up on the google cloud have gone blank.
They knew this update is garbage but put it out anyway.

Did you see my phone and test to see that it cant get 10 hours???
Meanwhile you just said you use a 7 pro 5g which is not a 7t pro, so your opinion is already invalid.
Go back and look at gsmarena review for both phones and you will see with your own eyes that the 7t pro has superior on screen time.
Gsmarena literally had the 7t pro achieving 2 hours on screen time more which proves me right. They got 12 to 14 hours.
As for battery degradation, thanks for pointing that out captain obvious. Your really think i dont know about that??? Accubattery and the oneplus diagnostics app have my battery health at 80 percent.
My phone should be achieving 8 hours with the degradation but is only getting 5 - 6 due to poor software updates.

But there is no way you've gotten 10 hours of screen on time, maybe 7, 8 if your pushing it but most phones can't do 10hours of sot. Also you have to consider I thing called battery degrading. I'm sure if you had a new battery it would last just as long as you apparently stated it would. Coming from a 7 pro 5G user so I'm stuck on 10 yes i will say it's not perfect but maybe instead of complaining be happy that they are actually updating it. Even now it just got 12 which is more than most phones have been supported for.

Its so bad, OnePlus doesn't ca... moreJust install a custom ROM, for example, Pixel Experience is amazing because it makes the 7T Pro have an ACTUAL clean stock android experience (It's Android 12L too!). Battery Life is also incredible on Pixel Experience, I could easily get an extra hour of use compared to OOS 11. In addition, Pixel Experience will get Android 13 when it comes out, so I will probably use this phone for another 2 yrs or so (but I agree with you that OnePlus doesn't rly care anymore, my next phone will probably be an Honor, making a comeback after the fall of huawei, or smth like a xiaomi or realme, those have amazing price to performance value).

Its so bad, OnePlus doesn't care anymore. Hopelessly slow buggy software updates. The only updates they have done are the almost useless monthly security updates which are already outdated by the time its rolled out.
No more OnePlus for me .
My OnePlus 6 which i left on Android 10 is still going strong but needs a new battery

Mine is still going strong even though I bought it (new) in Sep 2020.
Still holds a 90% battery health as of today (by Accubattery).

The 7T Pro has maybe a year of software support left, after which you'd have to be comfortable with using a ROM. Also the hardware (while very good) is two years old now, including the battery. This means you may need to be comfortable with changing the battery sooner rather than later.
The Samsung ostensibly doesn't have any of these issues.
