QI charging is not needed, is it fancy? sure.
but imo it is obsolete... it is so slow
sure it saves the charger port
but it is inefficient

Many Oneplus fans are repeating words of CEO, that QI is not needed etc. But for many people considering oneplus after samsung and other phones, this is really a lost. I was using wireless charging since my S7, now on Note 8, and this is very convenient method for me. I am not a speed maniac, to charge my phone in 30 min, btw who needs that, if you put your phone on a night?

Only it matters is not the tec of the future and because it was already surpased it got removed.
Noone is like to add costly technologies wghich require another space for hole and vires inside the phone.
Thus it got replaced by a bluetooth audio which some of them are far better than any wired one.

The jack is complete useless now.
Back in 1867 when it was invented it was great device but now 150 years after is probably the only analog technology these modern cell phones have.

No 3.5 mm jack, no DAC, no MHL support, not sure of Wi-Fi display support. No card slot is ok, we can go upto 256gb storage. Thanks to no notch or that crazy drop design, how did people come out with such a design

Same goes for SD Slot.
Cloud storage is future and for the rest of the people a OTG with an external hard drive would do.

No IP protection gives you water damage warranty so whether you have or dont have IP certification when your phone gets water damage you have to pay expensive repair.
