Still worth to buy after launching of OP9 Pro? How's the progress of android software update? Any cons need to taken care into consideration before purchase? Thanks in advance. (3t user)

Oneplus 8 pro vs oneplus 8t or other phone which fulfill below requirements.
1. Provide major OS update which can last 4 to 5 yrs
2. Best camera (selfie and rear camera)
3. Good battery performance.
4. Earphone jack (if possible)
5. Less lagging issue after 1 year of using the phone
Budget:
1. If above requirements can get below USD 480 or Rupee 35,000 is good.
Reason to change current phone: no major OS update

I'd like to consult with you and appreciate ... moreI'm using Samsung Note 10 for 1.5 years....curved screen is not a bad to use.....U will get used to it besides it gives a stunning look to ur phone....And my note 10 has exynos 9825 processor and already got 2 major OS updates but still it is as good to use as i have been using since day one....but if u want to go for oneplus phone u should wait for the oneplus 9 series....
If u want to keep ur phone for 4-5 years like ur S7 better go for Samsung flagships because they are providing 3 major OS upgrades and 4 years of monthly security updates as per their new policy....

From that moment on I didn't want to buy a phone with a curved screen. I don't like the feeling touching it, and also if you turn it a bit it can give the tint green issue. If it falls off you can buy another one. My friend had to pay 200 euros for her broken screen in a fall from a short distance from the ground. I like this phone but google it "black crush issue oneplus 8 pro". Because of the curved screen and that screen defect that many have, I don't buy it. Also don't buy the Samsung S20 FE 5G or the Pixel 4A 5G, both have touch sensivity screen problems. Maybe someone with the 8 pro will tell you the experience with the curved screen.

Hi guys,
I'd like to consult with you and appreciate so much your advices.
I'm with Samsung Galaxy S7 already 5 years and it's definitely about time to upgrade my device. I'm not sure if Samsung again, in my region Samsung devices arrive with Exynos processor.
For very long time I'm interested in OnePlus devices, only their flagships (Pro versions).
My question is how much does the curved screen interrupts?
I've heard from some that it's not convenient because of the screen protector and unwanted touch disturbs too.
I'll be more than happy to read your opinions.

This is just an incredible device. I had the Galaxy S21 Ultra for a few days and returned it due to issues. I bought this from Amazon for a discounted price and wow! It's just superb.

Couple weeks ago I bought 1+8 pro myselff and I would say,this the best and the fastest phone I ever had.
I was Samsung user for years,but this phone is a fricken class,honesty
