Phone is heavy and painful to hold. Would switch to Xperia1.2 but 60Hz hurts eyes. Try switch to 60Hz.
Also this phone has heavy backbleeding, try use it at dark. Even in white theme, it's visible when you have a popup with rest dimmed.
OLED technology is such a backbleeding beast, hope it gets replaced.

There is no inbuilt music app on oneplus 8 pro they have removed in their software update you need to google music which is linked with youtube music where you have to pay. Im suffering lots of problems .wav .flac files transmitted so many times. This is not your phone for offline music transfer. Company like oneplus sucks here. And google are taking advantage you all this shit.

Using this since last 2 months with latest android 11, no issues so far,
only complain is camera should be more optimized and weight appear heavy for daily usage.

Oneplus8 pro user, 22 Oct 2020Purchased this phone cause all of the reviews were praising... moreHow is the battery backup though? Is it straining because of the resolution and the refresh rate it has? Like at qhd+ and 120hz.. does it even last the whole day? And do you gain in SOT when qhd+ is toned down to FHD+ while still remaining at 120Hz??

Purchased this phone cause all of the reviews were praising it and i like oneplus brand. Turned out it had many problems that for me combined with the price tag on this thing make me regret buying it. First and foremost - the screen. It looks really nice, but the curved edges have bad accidental touch detection, my hands aren't even that big but everyday i get few misclicks cause of the edges. It is super annoying. Next big issue for me, usb c to 3.55 mm jack. I tried 2 adapters and have same issue with it - a slight movement in your pocket and the music playback stops, cause of the adapter movement. It drives me crazy as i am a person who uses headphones everyday. And no i dont want to use bluetooth headphones and fuck around with getting yet again another device that i need to charge, not to mention that bluetooth device does not offer nearly enough playback time. Then there is the button shortucts. The physical shortcut to take a screenshot is power button + volume down. The location of the buttons is placed in a way, that every time i grab my phone i make a screenshot cause of the shortcut. There is no way to turn that shortcut off. I know that those issues are not critical for many users, cause some people use wireless headphones these days, some don't mind the curved screen and can deal with misclicks and others might not have problem with accidental button clicks when picking the phone up, but for me, paying premium price for a device, such small nuisances ruin the experience and make me regret buying a 800 euro device.

Anonymous, 22 Sep 2020I remember when One Plus king was... They were budget fren... moreCompletely agree. I am sad to see no 3.5mm Jack in most of the phones now. That is the utmost criteria for me to buy any phone. I am in process of buying new phone as the current one is OnePlus 5 and though it is working Ok, it's not that appealing anymore and need upgrade too. Anyway, I will be most likely to go with Samsung S10 due to 3.5mm Jack, light weight, Water resistant and good screen resolution. However, I found the design of phons like X2 Neo or Huawei P40 Pro or even P30 Pro and OnePlus 8 or 8T or 8Pro are good compare to S10. But none of them are having 3.5mm Jack and I am not interested in using Bluetooth or 3.5mm connector. Hence no other option left. But I am sure that not many people are buying these phones due to no 3.5mm Jack. GSMArena site only I saw top 10 phones sold worldwide in 2020 and none of these phones are listed. :)
