Hi oneplus users can you please tell me how the battery life and other factors of the phone is like, i have heard of people complaining about battery life and heating problems, and also can the phone run with a smooth software for like 3 to 4 years? (old oneplus users may know about that)

Sam, 09 Nov 2020onepluse 8t is best If you are using 6T wait for OnePlus 9 version release in another 4 months. Don't buy now. You are not going to miss anything. Particularly camera sensor.
If it is a must go with it or wait.

Are you thinking on buying this phone because it will last you for several years? Well I thought the same with OP 5 and now I'm stick in Android 9 with no security patches for 6 months, an Andoird 10 release full of bugs and the end of support comming this month.

Sadly, OnePlus only cares about new devices, so when OP 8T is 2 years old, they will stop supporting it and you will have to buy a new phone. Is it worth the money? Think twice...

Does anyone know the difference between 5G specs (bands / frequency) for 8Ts sold in the US and other parts of the world (e.g. Asia, UK, etc variants)?

after owning this oneplus 8t for 2 weeks, it is easily the best mobile device i have ever had.
battery life is superb you will get upto 7-8hrs sot, i dont even need to charge it for 2 days.
and when you do charge it ONLY TAKES 30mins for full charge which is so convenient.
the display is buttery smooth on 120hz no lag no nothing it just feels another level like your eyes are upgraded coming from a 60hz display. the camera suffices for what it does i dont take much pictures but from what i can see they look like what a picture should look like, the mobile doesnt feel to bulky either just the right size for my hands, you will not be disappointed ! for the price you can not go wrong .

Must say the fon is best in terms of performance camera but recently started to face issues like vibrator doesn't work , diagnostic testing shows issue ,although it works for calls but not for msgs and it did workded once after restart but started problems again with vibration a day later...and also some apps doesn't get updated from play store ... Rest I would give 5 start to this fon I'd these issues gets resolved
