I was looking forward to the OnePlus 9 series. To be honest, I hate the back of it. When the rumours were going around I was hoping they were not true. I think that cameras area design is one of the most boring I have seen. Its looks so frigging ugly for me, just my opinion. I am so conflicted on what to do now cause I really wanted to upgrade with a OnePlus this year. I would go for a OnePlus 8 Pro design more any day but don't want an old phone hahaha.

A $700 for a plastic frame junkie that doesn't even have OIS. Meanwhile, we have better buid quality on mid-rangers.

Correction: is does NOT have Hasselblad optics. Just the software. That is an important detail. (e.g.: in huawei partnership with leica, leica chose the lens and sensor, which is NOT the case with OP)

I will wait till the price will drop to 500$ - 600$ otherwise it's not worth it. unfortunately there are not any good competitors in this range, I don't like samsung and pixel is using B.C technology, probably need to wait for pixel 6

Cameras are a lot more than megapixel counts. This camera is flagship Sony sensor. Not the crap IMX 582/586 48MP ones seen in all the cheap phones.

No OIS😄 nor water and dust resistense certification, no 3.5mm jack, small battery and still stuck at 48mp camera in 2021 & 800$ for what. This phone is a jock.
Some manufaturers think if costumers see Qualqomm flagship chip and 5g support among features, they pay as much as an iphone for their garbage.

I don't understand the point of bragging about how good your new camera is while removing OIS. I had high hopes, but this is a hard pass for me. OIS is absolutely necessary for cellphones if you wanna take any pics at all IMO.

Right now, TMO have an offer of half price discount. This device is a great phone for that price.

S20 fe 5g offers more features and better quality for 250-300$ lower price.
Iphone 12 with same price gives real high end permium specification including a beast chipset.
