And with Samsung Exynos phones and their history of issues, it's unlikely to improve. I gave Samsung a chance with their apparently improved Exynos processor, but I wasn't taking any chances after my issues.

The software updates a few months down the line make the phone much more stable and you'll even get better discounts.
People who've stuck with S21 Ultra for a month have seen its performance and battery life getting better with the updates.

They have heating issues and their battery life sucks. Exynos 2100 is a fair competitor to the SD 888.

Personally never got a chance to get hands on oneplus.
This time, seeing the price seems even further from me.
Other models also don't have good price here.

I love OnePlus and their phones. But I feel happy that I bought an 8 Pro at a discounted rate a few weeks ago, than wait for this. Whilst this phone is good, it's not something that makes me regret buying an 8 Pro. The 8 Pro is an absolute monster of a phone and I totally love it.
Phones these days are great on paper, but their real world usage is another story. Before I got the 8 Pro I bought an S21 Ultra Exynos version, the issues I had were ridiculous for such an expensive phone and after about 4 days I returned it for a refund.
So the moral is don't get caught up with hype, just go for something that may not be the latest and most expensive, but is still fantastic.

with this price they should give Gorilla Glass Victus instead of GG5. it's one of very big disappointment. Also, this time OP nothing do to with HB. we can expect in OP10 real integration with HB. Let me wait for MI 11 Pro/Ultra

Those who are not into taking photos will rather get mid ranger Samsung smartphones with good camera. And those who are into taking good quality photos WILL RATHER get Flagship iPhone, Samsung or Huawei where they have proven to take awesome great pictures. So this uncommon branding will DEFINITELY fail big time.
