Probably most of the older comments here are not user's feedback beause it just released only. I don't think they had try or teest an unit. Spec wise, indeed it is a good one, despite to the price segment for a lacking of the ip rating which should be fair enough.

Really love the comments section. People here act like they are phone experts lol. This phone has flaws and for sure there are other options to consider for a similar price, but reading the typical comments about things that have been a standard in flagships for years, like SD card, headphone jack and punch hole camera makes me laugh.
Major manufacturers will not include these features back, so if you miss them there are options that offer them, like budget Infinix or Tecno phones, or get a Sony flagship that no one buys and everyone still complains about the big bezels and the price xD.

OpposedScroll75, 24 Aug 2023>Again, for consistency, a hole in the display
>No h... moreNot spending over a thousand bucks on a phone. Sony has definitely improved their phones and they may be among the best at the moment, but it doesn't justify pricing them that high.
And nothing wrong with expecting "8K recording on a performance-centric phone that will probably launch for $600". The first phone to shoot in 8K was a $479 gaming phone. You wanna talk "cheap" "performance-centric" phones? And $600 ain't even cheap. That's regular flagship pricing. You've just gotten so used to companies brainwashing you into buying >$1000 phones that you think it's cheap.
And "You're really comparing a $1200 phone to a performance-centric $600 phone?"? No, the only one who mentioned a $1200 phone was you. The only other phone I mentioned was the $269 K60E, which has a better display than this.

Go buy an Xperia 1 V then. Those arguments make you sound like you've never used a phone that's not from 6 years ago.
And you're really expect 8K recording on a performance-centric phone that will probably launch for $600 when it goes global? You're really comparing a $1200 phone to a performance-centric $600 phone? That's some M A D copium bruv.

joe nodden, 24 Aug 2023You want everything wrong with it? Okay then.
-Again, fo... moreYou don't want to nitpick . Sorry to disappoint you bro but you already did
You stated points but most of your points could be put into just one statement of "I don't like the cameras " but you broke down your main concern just to feel like you have actually said something
This phone isn't a camera phone but rather focused more on performance and it's not like the photos it produced would be similar to a 2009 budget Android phone
Color OS is your problem . It's not a general problem . It's your subjective opinion so it shouldn't even be part
Headphone jack?? Are you kidding me ? Then you are better off with having a budget phone for infinix or tecno . Who still complains about headphone jack in 2023
1440p display cant be found but that doesn't mean the display is horrible .
You mentioning the hole punch cut out just shows that you have nothing to hate on this phone but just looking to drop a comment for attention

The specs look fantastic for even the S23's price. For someone like me who doesn't much care about a 100-200mp camera, I gladly take my 10T 16gb Ram and 256gb memory, stereo speakers on phone and one of my HUGE pluses the 125-150W charging ability ( as the nickname says I'm Old I can't remember which it is ). I've had the phone about 7 months, the phone i had previously was nearly stone aged. I didn't need or care b4 retiring but found over just 3-4 months of my initial stateside return chillax period, where I was on my phone far more often and pretty quickly. It would just stop working 3-4x a week from hitting and exceeding it's storage limit. Once I got to the point where I'd have to start erasing service or dogaughter pics & videos, WHICH WAS A NON STARTER, it was time to get a new phone. The 10T's specs, last February, for someone who doesn't care about having the best phone camera out there was a great buy at 436.00 US$. I've had no issues, only Ranger like performance so far. All my content that was freezing or randomly restarting my previous phone accounts 4 about 1/10th of the 10T'S storage. The charging is just almost impossible to believe. Anything above 45-50% charge, I can plug it in and by the time I get dressed it's ALWAYS in the upper 90's if not 100% charged.
Get to the point soldier boy, right? When I see this phone's specs and it's US$ price, IM PRETTY CONFUSED ABOUT HOW THIS CAN BE. This phone is NEARLY identical in price and in nearly every important area it's a good bit better than my 10T. This sounds like if going from E4-E5 being nearly identical to E6-E7. Seems to me we'd have a whole lot of inept SFC'S pretty quickly that way. Now.. This same obvious conclusion is hitting me in the face about this phone.
To my younger, wiser brethren, in this area, am I missing something here, or is this as nonsensical as it seems to me?

Anonymous, 23 Aug 2023OnePlus is dead.. I won't return back of them because ... moreI mean I don't disagree with you, but if you don't want a phone that's gonna snap in half, they do still sell phones that don't have plastic frames.
Again though, I don't disagree with you and hate the new overpriced OnePlus.

Anonymous, 23 Aug 2023OnePlus is dead.. I won't return back of them because ... moreYes, because a phone decided to snap in half when someone purposefully bent it, that means the phone automatically sucks. Forget performance, cameras, and value for money, because the phone broke in a durability test by one specific youtube channel (one who themselves states that the test is a little extreme) that means the phone sucks. Don't waste your money. Buy a Nokia 3310, it won't break.
