OnePlus Ace 3 Pro battery and charging details leak
OnePlus is working on the Ace 3 Pro, and upper-midrange smartphone that should slot in its portfolio right underneath the flagship OnePlus 12. This is likely to only launch in China, but it could end up being released internationally under a different name - after all, the already available Ace 3 is sold in global markets as the 12R, while the Ace 3V is rumored to be rebranded as Nord 4 for international markets in the coming weeks.
The Ace 3 Pro will have a whopping 6,100 mAh battery according to prolific and generally reliable leakster Digital Chat Station. That will be paired with support for 100W fast wired charging, and according to the leakster in question, such a pairing will remain unique for a long time to come.
OnePlus 12Other devices may have similarly-sized batteries, but they won't charge as fast. And others still will (and do already) have similarly fast charging, but smaller batteries. So it looks like the Ace 3 Pro might be one of 2024's kings of battery life, based on this information - that is, if it pans out of course.
Previous rumors talked about the Ace 3 Pro getting the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 1 TB of storage, which would make it an interesting competitor to the OnePlus 12. Then again, if it launches closer to October, it will serve as a slight step down from the upcoming OnePlus 13, which is expected to have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 at the helm.
The Ace 3 Pro's main camera is rumored to have 50 MP resolution and it will use Sony's IMX890 sensor, and the device will not have a telephoto camera at all (which is one more point of differentiation compared to the 12). It will get an 8 MP ultrawide and a 2 MP macro camera. It will have a metal frame and will be available in glass, leather, and ceramic back options. Its screen will be 1220p, and the Ace 3 Pro could sport a very different design to that of previous OnePlus handsets apparently.

If an update was released like that then it would get the attention of federal regulators in the USA, EU, and other places. It would attract lawyers because it would be a RAINMAKER. But none of that happens, so gonna have to hit that doubt (X) ...
