Is it advisable to buy the Galaxy S21 Plus now, in 2023, or I'm I better off with the OnePlus Nord 3? The plan is to get 2 years of use from it.

Ever since i bought my OnePlus Nord 3 I've experienced that while using or browsing Google Chrome sometimes is stock as i can't do anything then after few seconds or a minute is back to normal.

For some strange reason I'm not having problems with this amoled screen. I'm PWM sensitive and had to return/sell a lot of amoled phones (Pixel, iPhone, some Xiaomi / Realme phones with high PWM dimming). But after a few days still no headaches / eye strain with Nord 3. Strange...

yassineC, 20 Sep 2023does heating and battery draining in nord 3 are really big ... moreOne month of owning this phone. I havent come across any heating issues on regular use. The phone stays cool. It only heats up while charging but that's expected since its a fast charger. I get 6.5 hours SOT from 80-20%. A relatively good battery. Standby battery consumption is about 1-3%, sometimes I lose 0% overnight.

Im so in love with this phone. I bought this after having a horrible Samsung s22 which had garbage battery life and overheating issues. This phone is just amazing. The camera department is a little lacking, but still decent and even takes natural toned photos. Overall, 100% worth my money.

The PWM frequency seems to be 366Hz, which is slighly more than many other AMOLED screens in other phones. But this is still significantly less then 2404Hz in my LCD screen phone (Poco X3 Pro).

That's strange. This phone is not good for pwm sensitive users like me, according to what I saw. But I have no problems using it. It's like using an LCD phone. It's still early and headaches/eyestrain can appear any moment but for now it's good for my eyes.
I only complain about battery but I hope they fix with software updates.

My first OP phone, still using my Samsung A50 as secondary and work purposes. Giving it an 8.5/10. My battery did drain quickly after my first full charge, 100 to 15 in more or less 4 hrs of gaming and surfing although I turned on 120hz display not the adaptive refresh rate. A number of apps running in the background with app installation and system updates. After the latest software and security update, I did a couple of tweaks from the battery to display to in game settings (30 fps instead of 60fps on non competitive games and med-high) and my battery improved. Couple hrs of gaming and 6hrs of surfing and watching videos/streaming, I still have a spare of battery life left in 24hrs.

I have it for a month.. 3-4h sot(terrible) . oxygen os needs some improvement . it is throttling a lot. when you play a game it is very hot 45C+
camera is good . still needs refinement..
it is beautiful device.
if i would go back i wouldn't buy it.
