I posted my impression here when I just got this phone about a month ago, and because I have nothing better to do at the moment I thought I'd give an update after one month of using it.

First of all, performance really is great. It's handled every game I've tried without any problem what so ever, and I've also emulated GameCube games on it the past few days (through the Dolphin Emulator), and that works pretty perfectly as well.
The phone can get quite warm after a while though. Not untouchable but notably hot. I haven't really noticed any performance throttling because of it, though. Games keep on running smoothly.
Apps and UI is smooth as butter. I've never used a OnePlus before but I really quite like the OxygenOS. I haven't used a lot of AI functions so I can't comment on that, but they're there for those who want them.

Battery is pretty great. My standard phone usage per day is probably something like, 3~4 hours of web browsing, 1 hour minutes of listening to music, and 1 hour of gaming. And I usually still have something like 60~70% of battery remaining at the end of the day.
As I mentioned in my previous post, charging speed depends _a lot_ on which charger you have.

I'm also happy with the camera. Daylight photo looks great, night photo takes a second or two to take, but the result is generally really good.
The selfie camera is... Alright. Not fantastic but pretty decent.
Also, as for video, GSMarena claims there's no stabilization for 4k video, but there's absolutely some stabilization going on for all video modes. It's just that the "ultra stable" mode isn't available for 4k.

Someone said here in the comments that it loses network connection every now and then, but I haven't experienced that. However, my SIM provider doesn't provide 5G connection where I live yet (I live pretty much in a forest), so I can only speak for 4G/LTE, and that works.

          I have two tiny negative things to nit-pick, though;
          1. The fingerprint reader is a bit... Unreliable. I don't have a problem with the placement, and when it works it's pretty fast, but put your finger just slightly off-center and it wont recognize it. And then it'll take a second before you can try again. It can be a bit annoying.
          And
          2. The light sensor that controls brightness in auto mode definitely catches light emitted from the screen. This means that when you visit a white or in any way bright website, the phone will think that you're in a bright environment and get brighter. And when you open something dark the screen will instead go darker. Which is quite annoying because you sort of want it the other way around.

But even so I'm still very happy with this phone. I totally recommend it.

I like the aluminum build! If we could get aluminum on OnePlus Nord CE Lite that would be great too

OnePlus Nord 4 is the company's latest mid-range smartphone to debut in India, and the company has touted it as the first 5G handset with an aluminium unibody design. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM. It features a 50-megapixel primary rear camera and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The Nord-branded handset sports a 6.74-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. We've spent the past few days testing the OnePlus Nord 4 to see how it fares against similarly priced competitors.

cesalec, 23 Feb 2025Beautiful phone, powerful, great material , great cameras. ... moreHow about other device you used, no signal problem?

Beautiful phone, powerful, great material , great cameras.
                          BUT ...
                          - Nitpicking: It is a bit to wide and heavy ...
                          - Important: for a telephone this size not having a micro SD slot is definitely a NO NO.
                          - ULTRA ANOYING: It regularly looses connection to cell phone /5g/4g/3g network. This is is starting to become really annoying.

Has anyone experienced something funny or missing in their OnePlus's phones with Oxygen OS 15?
I noticed my Nord 3 is crucially and mysteriously missing the Circle To Search feature. I have searched the settings and can't find any in there.
                            Any help please?

Just got this phone (writing on it right now), and I really quite like it. Performance is great, very snappy and fluent.
There's quite a lot of bloatware on it (Aliexpress, Amazon, Facebook, 3 random games, several apps that do the same thing from both Google and OnePlus etc. etc.), but it's easily uninstalled through the settings.
Screen looks great. It's 1080p by default so you'll need to increase that in the settings of you want the full resolution. There's settings for the refresh rate too, but I've kept it at automatic because it's smooth as it is.
Camera is quite alright. It might not be completely flagship-grade but certainly good.
I do wish a 100 watt charger would've come in the box (apparently it does in the Indian version, but I live in Europe and have the global version). I'm using my previous phone's charger, and with that it's more like 3+ hours to fully charge the battery, rather than 28 minutes.

Phone feels quite good in the hand too. Not _that_ slippery. And the weight is quite optimal, not too heavy.
It's quite a big phone, sure, but I like big phones.

Overall, great phone. Hopefully it'll last for a couple of years without any issues.
