OnePlus Nord 4 is the company's latest mid-range smartphone to debut in India, and the company has touted it as the first 5G handset with an aluminium unibody design. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM. It features a 50-megapixel primary rear camera and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The Nord-branded handset sports a 6.74-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. We've spent the past few days testing the OnePlus Nord 4 to see how it fares against similarly priced competitors.

cesalec, 23 Feb 2025Beautiful phone, powerful, great material , great cameras. ... moreHow about other device you used, no signal problem?
      Which device has better signal?

Beautiful phone, powerful, great material , great cameras.
        BUT ...
        - Nitpicking: It is a bit to wide and heavy ...
        - Important: for a telephone this size not having a micro SD slot is definitely a NO NO.
        - ULTRA ANOYING: It regularly looses connection to cell phone /5g/4g/3g network. This is is starting to become really annoying.

Has anyone experienced something funny or missing in their OnePlus's phones with Oxygen OS 15?
I noticed my Nord 3 is crucially and mysteriously missing the Circle To Search feature. I have searched the settings and can't find any in there.
          Any help please?

Just got this phone (writing on it right now), and I really quite like it. Performance is great, very snappy and fluent.
There's quite a lot of bloatware on it (Aliexpress, Amazon, Facebook, 3 random games, several apps that do the same thing from both Google and OnePlus etc. etc.), but it's easily uninstalled through the settings.
Screen looks great. It's 1080p by default so you'll need to increase that in the settings of you want the full resolution. There's settings for the refresh rate too, but I've kept it at automatic because it's smooth as it is.
Camera is quite alright. It might not be completely flagship-grade but certainly good.
I do wish a 100 watt charger would've come in the box (apparently it does in the Indian version, but I live in Europe and have the global version). I'm using my previous phone's charger, and with that it's more like 3+ hours to fully charge the battery, rather than 28 minutes.

Phone feels quite good in the hand too. Not _that_ slippery. And the weight is quite optimal, not too heavy.
It's quite a big phone, sure, but I like big phones.

Overall, great phone. Hopefully it'll last for a couple of years without any issues.

windowslogon, 15 Feb 2025Talk about the Xperia 5. Sony phones are expensive lolunless you get 2nd hand device, but options are still too limited and you're screwed in case the device doesn't work as literally there's no service center around.

windowslogon, 15 Feb 2025If OnePlus will actually make a 13T.True that. But I think I'm done with big phones. I'm finding my Nord 3 a bit bi for my hands.
The Pixel 8 is almost a perfect size. Dare I say even an Sony Xperia 5 even if it's slim factor.

OnePlus 13T or Nord 5? Moto Edge 60 Neo? Pixel 9a? or a cheaper OnePlus 13R?

After one week of use (16/512) version:
Super fast and responsive, really fast. flagship fast REALLY FAST
Built and finish are good and high end (mine is silver)
Screen is very bright and beautiful
                          Camera is decent only decent.
battery is good if you set the device on normal mode not performance mode
Charging is hyper fast! (Buy the original charger and cable separately its worth it).
Speakers are decent but the DAC is not as good as Samsung, when you connect it to your car you notice a lower quality input compared to Samsung and iPhones.
UI is good but not as good as Samsung's
Highly recommend it for the price.

I've had the Nord 3 for a few days now. I wanted to get the Nord 4 but i think i'm done with large phones. The ideal phone size i think is a Pixel 8/9 or a Xiaomi 14/15.
                                My questions are:
Is it worth upgrading to a Pixel 9 if I have a Pixel 8?
And is it worth waiting for the global release of the Xiaomi 15? Or get the 14 now whilst it's on the cheap?

Yes I know it's an older device but it has (in my opinion) better screen, better audio (Dolby Atmos), better UI (near stock but with other added features), better battery, etc. I'll stay with the Nord 3 for now (unless something goes wrong with the OS or hardware) and will use it to trade-in with a OP13 or 13R later on this year.
