Looking for the opinion of people more knowledgeable than me or who own the device:

Between Nord 4, A55, Nothing 2A, and Poco F6 which is 'better'?

Looking to do some gaming (e.g. HSR medium settings # 30fps stable) but not long sessions. Otherwise phone will be used for normal phone stuff. I don't care much for the camera as long as the picture is clear and not absolutely horrible.

Please feel free to recommend other phones if you want, though they might not be available to me.

      I've shared here that I'm interested with a Nord 4. But is it really any better than the older model Nord 3?
      Apart from the chipset and battery capacity what other aspects makes it more a compelling "investment" than the Nord 3?
      And why should i buy the Nord 3 instead apart that it's cheaper?
      Would a Xiaomi device like the 14T be more better than a Nord 4?

        Just picked up for daughter via Amazon UK for £348.00 inclusive of P&P to Hong Kong, its £15.00 cheaper via Amazon Germany, however, UK offers 30 day return, whilst in Germany its 14 days. This was of course the 16/512 model in Green. Pricing compares favourably to cost in Hong Kong given the Nord is only available as a parallel import, meaning no warranty.

          I'm planning on getting the Nord 4 in this Black Friday sales thing.
          People are telling me that the cameras are an "entry system" and it's not great cameras.
          But are the cameras at least better than phones such as the Moto Edge 50 Neo, Xiaomi 13 Lite, Galaxy A35 or A55 or S20 FE, Sony Xperia 10 vi?

            ld, 15 Nov 2024yes perfectly but its called sony xperia VILol. That is a very good phone. Unfortunately, it is beyond my financial reach. And Sony does not do trade-ins.
            So, back to my question please?

                So, I wanted to ask whether the Nord 4 can do video recording of the following:
                4K 30 HDR turned on & with shutter button?
                4K 60 HDR turned on & with shutter button?
                1080p 30 HDR turned on + shutter button?
                1080p 60 HDR turned on + shutter button?
                Some of these are not available on my Xiaomi 13T which i'm trying to replace (if I can) due to the Black Friday Sales.

                  Very tempting Black Friday deals have started. I currently have the Xiaomi 13T. Stick with 13T, upgrade to a 14T, get a Nord 4 instead for photos and videos? And why?

                    I've had my Oneplus Nord 4 for a week now, and I'm very pleased with it. The build quality is gorgeous, the screen is bright and has beautiful colors. The battery lasts very well and charging is lightning fast. The Oxygen OS is fast and accurate. I removed the bloatware without any issues. It's very good for a mid-range phone, and I understand that some things, like the camera, may not be the best, but it processes colors very well. When I want a great camera, I'd rather use a DSLR. I'm a fan of Oneplus, and it didn't disappoint.

I believe it's mostly the 4K modes. It may be a software bug or a chipset limitation i really don't know. I have reported this to Xiaomi but alas no follow-up response or software update has been issues to fix it.
                      This is why i'm kind of hesitant to upgrade to a 14T and maybe get the new Xiaomi 14 (or 15) as they have Snapdragon? Or I could just get the Nord 4 in the new year.

                          14T seems to have worse battery than Nord 4. Also, I believe the 7+ Gen 3 is a more advanced SoC than 8300 Ultra.

Everything else (excluding the metal back) I'd recommend the 14T

                              I've got my Nord 4 from OnePlus Show Room at VR Mall on 28th September. On 30th October the phone became dead. Please don't think of buying this phone. Only within 15 days they'll replace the device if bought in showroom and only within 7 days incase of Amazon or Online purchase.

If only Hyper OS was a bit more lighter and faster and the updates were a wee faster than a One Plus.

                                      I really hate the pre-applied screen protection. Just give me at least GG 5 and be done with it.

                                        The Nord 4's main and ultrawide cameras share literally 99.9% similar specs with the Poco F6 apart from the selfie cam. So, I wanted to ask:
                                        1. Which one has better photos and videos on the main & UW cameras? (consistency in colours, dynamic range, video stabilization, white balance, skin tones, etc.)
                                        2. Which has better looking (and wider) selfie photos?
