Anonymous, 20 Jun 2024Old 4 yr old sd695Old does not mean bad. It is an energy efficient SOC thay offers decent performance (even for some gaming), great battery endurance, and an outstanding wireless modem. The only issue of note with the SOC itself is the lack of 4k recording.
The phone itself, however? It is going to be neutered in other ways. And that is on OnePlus and Oppo India, not the SOC.

Hopefully this thing is better than the OnePlus CE3 Lite (Indian version). That one had a poorly calibrated display, unimpressive battery life, signal reception issues, and supported like five or seven 4G/5G frequency bands. Hopefully this one fixes those issues, but I have no hope on that last one. Looking at the CE4, it may even be worse, actually.

Aah yes. Another Snapdragon 695 but named more fancy. It's a Snapdragon 695+. Maybe ++. But definitely nothing to do with Snapdragon 6 gen 1, 2 or 3.
