I'd purchased it before 4 days earlier but totally regretting on it and was using Vivo y51 before of it. The biggest downfall of this device is it's IPS display that is cheap. I think it must be amoled even if it's out of 90hz refresh rate. OnePlus must not design their devices in ips display. Now i want to move back on amoled.

Why, 10 Nov 2021Did anyone knows why oneplus nord that it is 5G network but... moreThis phone is only designed to get 5G if you have T-Mobile even if it's unlocked. You have to be very careful before buying. I've had the same issues with different phones and so that's why I fully research before buying.
It has to do with the frequency bands and this phone's frequency is only going to catch T-Mobile 5g.

I had issue with using 5G as the device says but in practical when you go to network it will not show 5G. during calls other windows pop up as from the touch of your ear.

Phone constantly mutes while talking due to defective proximity sensor. Called customer service and was given steps to clear cache and was told if that did not fix the problem would need to send it in which it did not so now I'm faced with having the hassle of getting old phone turned back on I guess until I can see if this one can b fixed😡

Hardware is good but software is too buggy.
Proximity sensor issue. Call gets mute while talking. Now peek display and notification not working just blank screen.

after last update, I start charging. check the phone if it has full charge after 90 min. I see that phone needs sim pin. it probably reboots itself. and also I saw that issue at oneplus forums. seems no solution so far. last post was 3 days ago about the same issue. the only problem I have is that. overall it s a good phone. I have cleared the cache today. I will charge in a few days. if that fixes I will write again.

Could this be the worst phone in the world. Certainly seems that way with major software issues, phone just switching to silent for no reason and recently had to reboot the entire think because and lost all my data. Absolutley appaling.

I bought this phone on black friday and honestly there isn't anything i've done that it cant handle and most of what i do is game and stream videos on it. bottom line it's a great phone as a stranger on the internet i can recommend

I have been uisng this phone for 1 year now, am not a gamer, only problem is the size, its a bit taller!

Why does everyone praise the original OnePlus Nord when this phone is 2/3 of the price and have a headphone jack and SD expansion unlike the OnePlus Nord and otherwise is only a tiny downgrade in specs?

The phone is quite nice, wher... moreYes, I have also had bad service experiences with OnePlus. I have had several OP phones and have needed service several times. The first time was wonderful! OP at that time used an Acer service center near Austin, TX. I got my phone back in 2 1/2 days.
But OP changed their service center about 3 years ago to someplace in Ft Worth. 2 service encounters there and they were horrible! First time took over 6 weeks to get it back. Communication with the repair center was non-existent. All communication is through OP Support and I think the OP Support even had trouble getting answers from the Texas repair center. And to add a final insult to me BOTH times I sent back my 2 SIM phone and received a single SIM card holder back. The phone was dual SIM but the SIM card only had space for a single SIM. Add another 3 weeks to get that worked out!
Overall I still like OP phones but if you need service BEWARE!

This phone worked fine until I got the Android 11 update, then it refused to connect at 5G if at all, wouldn't take inbound calls (they'd route straight to VM), and connecting to WiFi would only make it worse. The OnePlus online support were worse than useless, they kept making the same suggestion over and over.
When I finally located a phone support number online, it was also less than helpful but he gave me a shipping label to get me off the line so I had to go without a phone for a couple days. To their credit, they did ship it back quickly albeit with a large scratch on back, whereas their online support were totally happy to leave me with a only partially functioning phone for a month.
They downgraded the OS to Android 10 and it worked again, but it updated to 11 on it's own, but still functioned well until the next security update where it began the same behavior.
I will never again even consider purchasing another OnePlus.

Hardware is good but software has serious issues. Sometimes apps doesn't respond, shows white screen or stuck on splash screen. Fingerprint sensor is also unresponsive sometimes. Display and speaker quality is good but ui needs serious improvement. All happend after automatic software update.
