500 USD is the maximum amount money i would pay for a phone with so many absent features of a flagship phone.

Many absent flagship features on OnePlus Open:
-no desktop mode
-no IPX8 rating
-no wireless charging
-not so popular brand image (chinese brand)
-not designed exclusively (this is rebranded Oppo Find N3)
-mediocre night mode camera
-massive size of stylus accesories
-poor experience in multitasking
-half baked looking User Interface
-only few number of official store worldwide
I am waiting for Oneplus Open 5 in 2027 to see for the improvement, and all flagship features.

It's a very good device. Honor Magic V2 has slightly better hardware but in western market it'd the best foldable out there.

Tempting as i could get the open under 1500€ minus exchange device from years back. But meh not seeing the foldables durable and in my job ....yeah just not seeing this survive and if the work environment (metal worker) doesn't do it time will take out the inner screen....Tempted to get this, but meh
