Why is everyone so bothered about the lack of cellular data?
Maybe it's different here in the UK, but I turn on the WIFI Hotspot on my phone, the tablet connects via WIFI, and from there it's exactly the same as having cellular data.
Admittedly the phone battery will run down slightly quicker but I'm not someone that needs to use a tablet all day every day so it's never been an issue.

Biggest disappointment is the "No cellular" version atleast for 5G data.

This would have been a superhit with people (and almost end of iPads) like who travel a lot due to Business and with no SIM version, its an absolute waste of resources like 8 Gen3 chip...What are you guys even trying to do, i simply fail to understand?

Hopicus, 18 Jul 2024Good ips display is better than cheap amoled displaywhat's a good IPS display? What even is a cheap amoled display? Wtf are you on about.

In no way whatsoever apart from brightness, can an IPS be better than an AMOLED. The only thing a good IPS display has going for it is better motion and OLED's motion is an order of magnitude better.

Cpt.Power, 17 Jul 2024Apart the LCD everything is awesome even the price. But w... moreWhat are you talking about?
The only good thing about this tablet is the IPS LCD monitor. The rest is boring and mediocre. Too many missing features = huge deal breaker = no buy.

No SD card slot, no audio jack, no fm radio, no sim card slot, no GPS, nothing

Next tablet please with more features thx

Why is there so much confusion around this tab, it's USB 2.0 one day, 3.2 the other, storage is UFS 4 at first and then suddenly it is down to 3.1.

Yes, it supports external display via USB type-c 3.2, as some reviewers posted on YT!

Apart the LCD everything is awesome even the price.
But who in the world would buy same specced thing by Samsung with OLED for 1200.
If LCD does its job and price is really sweet.

babak, 17 Jul 2024specs are good but why no cellular connectivity on tablets ... moreI think they are trying to push us to use their ecosystem. It doesn't have cellular because it takes and mimics cellular from your phone as a feature. The catch is you must have a modern OnePlus/Oppo phone to have that feature work. It works well though

specs are good but why no cellular connectivity on tablets recently? its a must i think,in some countries cellular network is faster than Wifi.

look at that, no notch, was that so hard?? Samsung putting a notch in the Tab S9 Ultra is some hot bullsh*t.

Instead of an IPS LCD they should've given an OLED, a basic one would've been fine like the one on the Tab S7+, no need for super bright stuff when you can have an OLED. Even if they did go for LCD, they should've gone for Mini-LED, an edge-lit/directly lit LCD in the current day and age is near inexcusable. AOC can put out 1440p gaming monitors under 300 dollars, Hisense provides full fledged TVs with Mini LED for under 1000 dollars.

BUT getting an 8 Gen 3 tablet that's THAT big is certainly a huge plus, tough to complain against Oneplus's decision when you consider the price. They could've put in a larger battery ig, Oneplus is already quite deep into the "destroy the competition with more battery" idea and a tablet is the perfect place to test that, maybe it affected the thinness and weight or the price too much? But yeah, hope next year's one either gets an OLED OR a Mini-LED backlight, even a basic 376 zone one would be great cus this is a small tab.

Otherwise, it is a powerhouse android tablet.

Good specs for the price, but I wish there was perhaps a bit more expensive "pro" version that would have these:
                                      - An OLED screen
                                      - A fingerprint reader
                                      - SIM card slot and 5G
