i was in a similar boat....sold my OPX and bought myself a HTC M8 One...quite satisfied....good RAM management, though only 2 GB ram but faster than OPX and stable OS too.....rumors that it might receive Nougat as well.

My 4 year old Moto G is on MM and still getting new features and patches daily on CM13. However, this is not OPX's problem, there are other things that worries me and keeps me from buying it

I for one who never wants to spread hate comments. Apologies if by any chance i had offended you. I am now atleast clear about OPX. Am gonna take it off my list. so probably it looks like i might narrow down to Redmi Note 3. Though that would mean a hit on 2 of my priorities - 5" & a better camera perf. Still as a package it looks promising.

AnonD-514838, 27 Jul 2016do you even read the opinions posted in here? why dont you... moreBro i dint send you a DM asking your opinion. If you are too lazy to respond why the hell you bothered to post this which of 0% use to me.

Its not practical to read through every single comment posted against a handset. That is why i had posted my query so that real time users would respond specific to point. And as i had clearly mentioned, those are just the phones i had picked up for consideration due to various combinations. I am looking for a handset with very good camera perf, but OPX has failed to some extent in that area. still i have it in my list. I clearly know G turbo has just a 720p and an mediocre Snapdragon 615 but a 5" to my liking with turbo charging.

Just like every other handset each one has its pro n cons. I am capable to make a informed decision not just by seeing comments here, and not just by checking professional reviewers content. But its always good to hear real time reviews from users who must have spend considerable time using a specific handset and would be in a better position to help possible buyers. I have done so by passing on my user experiences.

So if you think you have better work to do.. then ignore posts here and just eject off man !!!

why dont you do a little research and make an informed decision yourself?
Your needs are specific it should be be, if your priorities are a 1080 display then how can motog3 turbo be an option?
if you want a discontinued phone with no after sales support then oneplus x is the perfect choice.
                        Hope this helps.

                                Guys,

Please help me make a decision. I'm planning to buy an android phone under Rs.15k.
I had narrowed down on 4 options:

                                OnePlus X / Moto G4 Plus / Moto G4 / Moto G Turbo

I was very much inclined towards OPX after going through various reviews except for the official OPX forums. Of late when i checked there, I see a lot of hue and cry there now of the current owners of OPX complaining about lack of support for OPX compared to OP2 and no sign of MM. Now am in serious confusion.

                                My priorities:
                                1. Preferably a 5" phone, [worst case due to other compelling reasons i can go for 5.5"]
                                2. 1080p display
                                3. Would need MicroSD slot.
                                4. Excellent Camera performance. [ I know OPX takes a hit here]
                                2. Main usage pattern would be for lot of video playback, net browsing & very very occasional gaming.

I had seriously considered the following:
                                1. Redmi Note 3 - Hated MIUI & 5.5"
                                2. Lenovo Vibe X3 - Bit Bulky - Read lot of heating issues [ I had similar opinions shared on
                                Moto G4 plus too]
                                3.
                                Appreciate responses.

                                      OPX......discontinued.
Had to replace my screen. Service Ctr says no spares available. Not even sim slots. Wont be restocking them.
Now stuck with a phone, few months old. No spares, cannot be repaired, no software updates.
Paid for additional 2nd year warranty and accidental damage. All of no use. Company is saying no spares.
