Battery back up is not good.. Is am the only one facing this.I didn't charge the phone when I got it .. Is that the reason?

There is a major problem. Camera Flash has stopped working after the Oxygen OS 2.1.2 update. This needs an immediate correction. Also, it doesn't support some Indian Languages.

this is china phone - another one w/ no updates that will happen afterwards - will be stuck in the current OS version only after 6mos no updates.because the product is dead

Most of the phones in the market heats up because they using Snapdragon chipset.....never buy a phone with a snapdragon chipset....Exynos chipset much better.Faster,cooler and save battery a lot specially Exynos 7740.....Snapdragon sucks

It is a factory installed screen guard. You can remove it safely.
