And then there are others like Oneplus that know that they can never win so they decide to drive car in the reverse gear. Now Oneplus, Mi trying to drive its car in reverse car ( read cheaper devices) and this new from Oneplus is competing with Mi 4.

And we already a cheaper device-MI 4 available with the same specs, cheaper, bigger battery and compact. i am guessing that Oneplus is trying to compete with Mi4 and not other flagships. If amoled display and dual sim capability along with android 5 makes a difference for anyone that they can talk.

It's good to see that One Plus X is releasing a phone with SD 801 at a very reasonable price.
Everyone would have buy that if would have Dedicated Dual SIM along with dedicated SD card slot. Not as Hybrid slot. Battery is reasonable as well.
But still, it is good deal.
This is a mid-range phone and SD 801 would do much better performance compared SD 615 and other Mediatek chipsets.

It is a better mobile for the time being.
It could have been a best daily driver for long term with the below 2 points :
1) 16GB Storage will be an issue for a dual simmer. 64GB option at extra cost would be a game changer.
2) Without NFC chip, it does not look future proof. Just a chip to be added.
