I received this phone as a gift and used this phone for 6 months now. Here's my opinion;
It's absolutely trash! The software is trash, the hardware is trash. It's laggy and choppy as hell all the times. You can't do photography on this phone, the photo quality is awful. You can't play a bit heavier games on this phone, it will lag, crash, etc. Even when you wish to use this phone only to make calls it will frustrate you with lags when you try to open the dialer app!! The phone memory always gets full even though you're keeping nothing on it but 4-5 useful softwares. Even the monthly security patches are not received monthly rather received two months later. This phone doesn't actually have it's own software features, most are borrowed from Google and poorly implemented.
I used Samsung Galaxy J7 for 5 years. That phone still takes better quality pictures than this phone now. That phone has Android 8.0 but still has more features than this Android 10 phone. I suggest avoid any Oppo phone. Buy Samsung, no matter the budget you won't be disappointed like this. And I'm also thinking of buying a new Samsung phone too.

Worst phone doesn't have any features doesn't have a dark mode and it's phone is very very poor I am shiffftinh from oppo to samsung at least samsung has more features and styles that this bloody sucking phone.

it dosent lag it just overheats when playing roblox for too long but its good to use. when theres damage

I am loving the Expert mode on camera 📸. night phone in 30s look really good in low light.

Its disappointing so muchh...its my new cp after 4yrs and i thought i could play smoothly now.but no, i try mobile legend and its so lag..😭its ml wtf even my old phone is smoother than this.

Last 15 years use on different mobiles. But I dont seen this type of mbl. My half month salary it means 15 days of my work value of Rs.9500 totally waste. In future I don't anyone refer to these mbls ( All kinds of Oppo mbls )

The OTG doesn't work, also the Oppo A12 supposed to be updated to Android 10 (Nigeria)

It's disappointed me because it refused to connect to the OTG even after going to settings and select oTG connection

Decent phone, it's only good for downloading social media apps, messaging apps and a few except gaming (the biggest example would be Genshin Impact as many people have already mentioned) unless there are some games (mostly casual ones) that do run a bit smoothly as long as you set its graphic settings to low. Kinda lowkey wish the phone build's size should be at least around 5.8 inches or smaller but hey, as long as it's good I suppose.

Good phone. Works well with 4g. Multiple downloads may slow it a little.

very disappointing. system always go back to original settings.
any update for this phone? we dont have any choice coz this is the one that most company issued as a company phone to their employees
