The 300 % volume thing is more like a gimmick, even at 300% volume, the sound didnt get that loud at all. Only reached 89 decibel, which is a normal loudness level for an average smartphone. So it wasnt really that helpful in a noisy environment.

Helio G85 in 2023? At $150 price range? I would rather choose Snapdragon 680 instead.

Too overpriced i guess, having only a Helio G85 at this price point they should've just upgraded to G95 or G99 since those were the appropriate processors at this price range. Feels like a shame since you can find phones having Helio G85 with less than $100 while this phone costs $140 you're paying extra $40 dollars for a thing that doesn't even have any difference compared to cheaper phones.

Well a new Redmi is $684, my A96 was just $349. The Redmi has 6GB of RAM, my Oppo has 8GB. I almost never use the camera so I don't care about it, and my screen is not Amoled but it's just fine for my purposes. It's bright and clear and all I need. So no, the Rn11 is not better bang for your buck.

So I don't know where you're getting your pricing information from.

And the fact that you continue to go on about spec's tells me you've missed my main point entirely. The fact remains that these Oppo models are fantastic phones for the price, serving the needs more than adequately for the majority of the population who couldn't care less whether their screen is 720p or 1080p wide. They are fit for purpose and readily replaced if they get lost or broken without breaking the bank.

SleuthB, 29 Nov 2023I am an Oppo user and I've been so impressed with my O... moreand one more point, virtual ram does not do anything but bottlenecking the emmc. can lead to phone storage related problems. oppo A series and vivo Y series is really targeting non tech savvy customers. the naming is so horrible that the price to spec ratio is uneven. yes you do get "warranty" but users have their phones often to get serviced to 3rd party repair shop anyway. their A series is nothing but fashion oriented with ultra budget specs. you know why A series sold very well? yes you may know it, pushy salesperson. A96 is still expensive to this day. how is it good value for money.. is it because of the "oppo glow" full of glitter design? 🤭🤭 even that phone has the similar specs as redmi note 11, except no amoled, no ultrawide not even macro. just main and useless auxiliary lens. and 2x more the price of rn11. my opinion on buying phones is to look for bang for the buck devices. where they offer more hardware features at reasonable price.
