Oppo A3 Pro 5G leaks in CAD-based renders

Oppo launched the A2 and A2 Pro last year, and the A3 back in 2018 - please don't ask us to make sense of this naming scheme, we can't. To add some additional confusion to the mix, the A3 Pro is coming soon.

CAD-based renders of the A3 Pro have been leaked today, along with its size: 162.7 x 74.5 x 7.8 mm. It's said to sport a 6.7-inch screen.

The renders reveal a two rear cameras housed in the way too over the top circular camera island that also contains a circular LED flash array and an entirely decorative circle at the top that has a metal-looking cap instead of a camera of its own.

The phone has very narrow side bezels and decently sized top and bottom ones (though the latter is slightly larger than the former), a hole-punch in the middle of the screen for the selfie camera, power and volume keys on the right side, and of course a USB Type-C port at the bottom.

There are no other details about the Oppo A3 Pro that have been leaked yet, but now that the ball is rolling, we expect to hear more about it soon. For what it's worth, the A2 Pro, which this is most likely supposed to replace, was a lower-midrange offering powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7050 SoC, paired with 8/12GB of RAM and 256/512GB of storage and sporting a 64 MP main camera flanked by a 2 MP depth sensor.

We expect some minor upgrades for the A3 Pro naturally, but wouldn't go too far - it should also cover the exact same price point as its predecessor, offering a decent looking package for not a lot of money.

world class mobile

i actually like the design overall. however, the shiny circle they put in-place of a third camera is something that really detracts from the "premium" feeling they're trying to give. i'm guessing it'll have the same 64mp main...

I would never buy a phone with such disgusting design!
