Oppo A57s and A57e go official: Similar phones with different cameras
Oppo has added two new smartphones to its A57 lineup, called A57s and A57e, which are similar smartphones with a few differences.
Oppo A57s
Let's talk about the Oppo A57s first. It's powered by the Helio G35 SoC, runs Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1, and comes in a single 4GB/64GB memory configuration. However, the RAM expansion feature allows you to virtually add 4GB extra RAM using the smartphone's internal storage, and the handset also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB.
The Oppo A57s is built around a 6.56" LCD of HD+ resolution. It's protected by Panda Glass and has a notch for the 8MP selfie camera. The primary camera - using a 50MP sensor - is placed inside the rectangular island on the rear with a 2MP monochrome unit and an LED flash.
The Oppo A57s is IP54 rated, has an NFC chip onboard, and features a side-mounted fingerprint reader for password-less unlocking. It also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, ultra-linear stereo speakers, and Dirac 3.0 audio.
Keeping the entire package up and running is a 5,000 mAh battery charged through a USB-c port at up to 33W. If all this sounds familiar, that's because the Oppo A57s is a version of the Oppo A57 4G available in India. The latter sports a 13MP main camera and has multiple memory options, but doesn't come with NFC and stereo speakers.
The Oppo A57s comes in Starry Black and Sky Blue colors. It's listed on Oppo's Croatian website, but there's no word on its pricing and availability.
Oppo A57e
We already mentioned that the A57s and A57e are similar smartphones. Well, the Oppo A57e is basically the A57s having a 13MP primary camera with no stereo speakers or NFC onboard. It also comes with Bluetooth 5.2 instead of 5.3.
You can also call the Oppo A57e a version of A57 4G with Bluetooth 5.2 and a single memory option - 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
The Oppo A57e comes in Green and Black colors and is available for purchase in India through Flipkart for INR13,999 ($175/€175). It's unclear why Oppo launched the A57e in India when the A57 4G is also sold at the same price through its official website (even lower on Amazon.in) with the same amount of RAM and storage.

Not gonna lie its good and bad at the same time. It can do the job but it lacks at what you expects it to be especially at gaming or even the camera. At a better Camera and a gaming processor there are more better at the same price point like realme,...

The features are cool and the Mediatek Helio processor is also appreciable, however, the price is a little higher.

Both seem like decent devices and although the price is high the mediatek processor is a good choice.
