Been using for a year. Very good so far. No issues. Very fast. Not good at using the camera yet. Unable to find a place to change resolution for saving.

Hello all, has anyone found a way to get a contact on the home screen? I've tried widgets but there isn't one that adds a contact to the home screen.It seems crazy as for years and years it has been so easy to do but I just can't find out any way to do it on the A5

Bought this phone expecting to have fast charge capabilities considering it has an USB Type C port on it but don't be fooled this port is only USB2.0 not USB3.2 gen 1 or 2 .. So you're stuck with 5V/500mA and it take hours to charge even when plugged into its own charger or the USB Type C 3.2 gen 2 port on my PC, and transfering file over the port is just as slow as my 2016 Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro so if you were hoping for fast charge or speedy file transfers you're not gettin it with this phone

Came from a higher end samsung to this. I will say after just about a month of usage I have no complaints camera is excellent in contrast To my note9, 2 day battery life meaning it can take all the tasks I throw at it without breaking a sweat. I haven't had the phone ever go flat on me. The midrange snapdragon 665 has pretty stellar performance in my use for gaming and other heavy tasks. I can run medium to high settings and still get a solid 26 to 32 fps from my use playing games. To top it off it's a beautiful phone although it may have a 720p screen it really isn't too much of a compromise, altogether its been a really good phone for me.

This is the worst phone I've ever had. A 5000mAh battery for 2 days of basic use? Meh. Switching between apps takes ages (I'm talking agenda and messages, not Netflix and a game. BTW, I don't think it can handle it). About the message app, it displays the numbers of the senders but their names seconds(!) later. Handy. The fingerprint reader gets it right one time out of four, Chrome freezes all the time and the keyboard disappears when typing. Utter waste of money and patience.
