It feels like a really great phone if you are upgrading from an old low performance phone. But after you use it for about six months, you really start to feel its limits. Its battery, although it is a massive 5000mah one, takes a long time to charge. It will give you two days of normal usage, but a quick fifteen minute charge won't do much good. It is able to run games decently, but when I was playing COD mobile, I had to use a gfx editor. The display is really large, but it only has a resolution of 720p. Plus, since it is an LCD panel, it lacks the colour of an AMOLED display, a kind which nearly every single modern phone has. It heats up a lot, which sometimes is a problem. Lastly, the camera. It is a quad camera setup, but only two of them have any real meaning, the main 12mp one and the 8mp ultrawide. Plus, the Night Mode needs a lot of improvement. Still, it has some of the best HDR i have ever seen in a sub 200 dollar phone. It can minimise glare even with the Sun shining directly into the camera. The Electronic Image Stabilisation is absolutely amazing. It even has a feature in which it uses software to take 48mo photos, from the 12mp camera, which is really great. Overall, it is a phone made for the average person, who does not need much performance. But it isn't a phone for a hardcore techie. It does have its limitations, but it can still do the job and can best any other smartphone in its price range. And the Night Mode problems hopefully will get removed with coming software updates.

Have many of you reported any issues with your camera on low light situations?

I Walked in the bush Sat afternoon - dim and bright patches of sunlight between the trees. I had real problems getting the camera to take pictures. Laggy.

Even in direct sunlight the camera would not take a picture of a vista from a deck overlooking the ocean despite there being lots of sunlight.

Have other users experienced this?
If so, what solutions have you tried to eliminate this? Turn off the AI feature etc?

Have you tried to complain to oppo directly?
