Oppo A79's design leaks in promo materials

The Oppo A79 will arrive soon with a Dimensity 6020 chipset and 33W charging. The phone's promo materials were shared by Sudhanshu1414 on X, formerly known as Twitter. They reveal a big battery and a lightweight design with a thin profile, inspiring the paint job on the back that imitates a feather.

When the phone arrives, it will have 8 GB RAM, and 128 GBbstorage. The phone will have a microSD slot for up to 1 TB of more room for data.

The cameras on the back are two, despite the confusing design of circles within circles. The primary shooter will have a 50 MP Samsung JN1 sensor, while the second is a simple 2 MP depth sensor. The front camera inside the punch hole has an 8 MP sensor.

The SuperVOOC charging is advertised to fill a 5,000 mAh battery in 74 minutes from 0 to 100%. The device is clearly intended for the audience in Southeast Asia, as the promo materials say charging for 15 minutes can provide a battery life to watch the ICC World Cup, the pinnacle championship of cricket, for over three hours.

The Oppo A79 will also come with dual stereo speakers and Ultra Volume mode that can reportedly increase the volume up to 300%.
