RyK, 16 Apr 2022Overpriced phonesIndeed. I would rather add up a little bit and go for the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G that comes with 5 years of software support, a better camera setup, a stronger processor and an IP67 rating. Shame on Oppo (and its siblings Vivo) for downgrading newer models.

Oppo A96 is a joke by ditching AMOLED display and launching with Android 11 in 2022. Like all Oppo A series, it will only get 1 OS update to Android 12. Buy this if you feel you have too much money and don't know how to spend it.

I don't think so this is overpriced phone for the range. But this is recommended if you really like Oppo brand because there have big internal memory. Snapdragon 680 i think have a poor camera same a 695 5g

remember, this phone gonna launch for Indonesia on April 7th 2022
for speaker, theres dual or stereo speaker which is very good to use after A92.
Unfortunately, no ultrawide and still Android 11 which makes people disappointed with this phone. unless 256GB storage will be fine also with max 1TB SD card. with certified IP54.
hope this price doesn't go overprice that made me disappointed for the cost.

Basically an OPPO A36 in China (or A76 in SEA) but with a higher screen resolution, IP54, higher ram and rom, and lastly, a better 50MP main camera (though it could be the JN1).
