Plus moving parts make phones more susceptible to water damage as well.

This is the first phone to get Snapdragon 865 at low cost below $600, great work Oppo, Ip rating and a telephone lens would have been a great if it came with it, otherwise its a great smartphone for a great price.

They messed up the camera. Who wants a depth camera over a telephoto camera? The depth sensor is not even needed! A good phone but with a major problem...

The phone is gonna be obsolete before the camera fails m8 why don't you or anyone else that thinks that way understand that? (2) Oh no, you have to wait half a second longer to take for selfie! Oh the humanity! (3) The OnePlus 7 Pro m8. Several reviews water tested it. Dave Lee had it in water for his whole review, perfectly fine. Doesn't even have an IP rating, perfectly fine. Never saw it fail a test, even with the camera popped out. Yet another invalid point of yours.
I can almost guarantee the price will be higher for this than the K30 Pro. The base K30 Pro costs $420. The base Oppo Reno Ace 1 costed $420. So it's gonna be either the exact same price, or more. And we all know they're gonna raise the price, exactly like every other manufacturer with every one of their new models. Oppo is no different.

joe nodden, 09 Apr 2020No it's basically factual that a hole in the display is wor... morePlease stop referring to your opinions as facts, just makes you look more childish :/ ...Firstly, there are limitations with both the punch hole camera design & the popup camera design, clearly, you know all about the limitations of the punch hole design, so I will talk about the limitations of the popup camera, 1) its adding a moving part to your phone, and just with everything with moving parts its more likely to break/ fail, 2) it is far slower to take a quick picture with the popup as you have to wait for it to popup ever time, 3) it makes the phone considerably harder to make waterproof/ resistant (calls outside in the rain, the water is far more likely to get inside the phone and damage it), etc. Your opinions aren't facts. Secondly, you don't know the price of the phone so don't act like you do, the oppo Ace 1 the phone before this phone had an English version known as the Realme x2 pro, one of the best price to performance phones out (and still is, at least in my opinion), hence this phone the oppo ace 2, just like it has a chance to be more expensive compared to the K30 pro, also has a chance to make a greatly priced Realme x3 pro. Proving once again your OPINIONS arent FACTS, now can you please stop.

And no, the 7T had a row of 3 cameras with the flash on the bump, this has 4 cameras arranged in exactly the same way as the K30 Pro with the flash off the bump like the K30 Pro with text in the middle like the K30 Pro. It's a ripoff of the K30 Pro, not the 7T."
Not once did I mention the 7T Pro. And nothing at all I said there was incorrect.

As I said before this is only a win, win situation, the more phones that are made (regardless if they are similar or not), the more competition there will be in the market and there will be far better prices for the customers. Additionally, if people don't like a certain design for whatever reason they won't buy it, and the more phones will be made in the design people do like, bringing the price of the design people do like down, so everyone can have it, rather than just the people paying £1000 for it. Not to mention people don't care about ripoffs, the only people that do are the ones that want all the money from the customers and want to force customers into paying £1000+ for every phone they buy, you aren't one of those people, are you? Regardless you seem to be rather childish in the way you are forcing your opinions, so I feel you will probably just repeat yourself and ignore what I'm saying the same that has been done with every comment before stating the fact that this design you talk about has been "leaked in the media as early as June 2019" for "the mate 30 series", from "anonymous" (a comment you're just so happened to skip over on the 6 April 2020). Maybe you should just buy the k30 or whatever phone you keep telling people is the best, and just leave people you make their own choice. Also, last point one of the posting rules is "No bashing - deliberately and repeatedly bashing the same brand", repeated calling the same phone a rip off for 20+ comments in the same comment section and calling the K30 the better version, seems a bit like bashing.
